Vitiligo & Proud 🤍

For over 15years, I’ve lived with vitiligo! What started as tiny white spots slowly became part of my skin, my body and my story.
I used to see what was different! I hated it!

Now I see what makes me, me!
We spend so much of our lives trying to hide the things we think make us imperfect. But who decided what perfect looks like?
Your scars! Your stretch marks! Your cellulite! Your skin! Your differences!
None of them take away from your beauty!
Don’t hide the parts of you that make you unique!
Own them! Embrace them! Be proud of them!
Because you were never meant to look perfect!
You were meant to look like you! Thank you @passion_dreamcapture for this capture! #vitaligobeauty #imperfections #embracingmyvitaligo #beautywithinyou #perfectlyimperfect❤️ taken in Dubai, United Arab Emirates by @vimi_shah

A time was had! What a fun day doing a photoshoot with the amazing @passion_dreamcapture
I’m far from being an influencer lol, but this was a vibe, such a great experience and completely outside my comfort zone, which is exactly why I wanted to do it!

They say, “Do what makes you uncomfortable until the uncomfortable becomes your comfort zone.” And that’s exactly why I did it!
I freaking loved it!
It was real hard work in that Dubai heat 😂 but we showed up, worked it and had the best time!
Sometimes you just have to step outside your comfort zone, have some fun and see what happens! If anyone is looking for an amazing photographer, contact my friend Akhi! He’s the man! #photoshoot #whatavibe #boss #dubai #alseefdubai by @vimi_shah

Who is Vimi Shah? ❤️
If you had asked me 20 years ago where I’d be at 47, I honestly couldn’t have imagined this life!
I started in Travel & Tourism before unexpectedly finding my way into beauty, working my way from the shop floor at Molton Brown in Selfridges to management, then Harvey Nichols, Fenwick and beyond! Then I was in the printing world as an Account Manager and also worked for Thompson Reuters!
I eventually realised corporate life wasn’t for me. I wanted more!
So I took a risk!
Nine years ago, I put my savings into building Benjamin Raymond with my then husband @benjaminrpiner now my ex husband and still my amazing business partner!
I knocked on doors, built relationships, sold, learned, made mistakes and kept going!
There were incredible highs, difficult lows, sacrifices and lessons along the way. But we built something beautiful!
Today, I’m 47 and still learning, still growing, still dreaming!
I’m ambitious, curious, loyal, a people person, a social butterfly and someone who genuinely loves seeing others succeed!
I believe strength is about who you become when life tests you!
I’m more excited about what’s ahead than what’s behind me. “A younger me, long before I knew where life would take me…”

Still buzzing from such a beautiful day! Grateful to my client @brianwoulfe for inviting me to a spectacular day filled with networking, laughter, meeting inspiring people, great food and having lots of fun!
I absolutely love all of your beautiful horses 🐎
I also had the chance to learn the basics of polo and absolutely loved it! It’s definitely something I’ll be taking up when I’m back in Dubai soon! #grateful #interiordesign #pololife #ChampagneAndChukkas #Asado 🐎🥂❤️ taken in Guards Polo Club by @vimi_shah

A couple of years ago, I was lucky enough to be part of the @foundxrsclub! An incredible community built for ambitious entrepreneurs who want to grow not only their businesses but themselves too!
Last night, after coming back from Dubai, I was invited to their Summer Party and what a vibe!
It reminded me that genuine relationships don’t end when your membership does. I’m so grateful for the friendships I’ve built, especially with @mrkp36 @sunny.patel36 @ruchiratalwar and @mr_krish82 ! You guys rock!
It’s rare to find a community where business, personal growth and lifelong friendships come together so effortlessly!
If you’re an entrepreneur looking to connect with inspiring people, grow your business, and genuinely enjoy the journey, I can’t recommend @foundxrsclub enough!
Here’s to great people, meaningful connections, and unforgettable nights!

Malaysia was more than a business trip!
I went to expand, elevate and create new opportunities and I did exactly that! I met the most amazing people, who have now become new friends!

But the biggest growth happened in the quiet moments alone!
I had time to reflect, reconnect with myself, protect my energy and step deeper into my feminine power! Thank you god! #BossMoves #FeminineEnergy #LevelUp #SelfReflection #malaysia ❤️🙏 by @vimi_shah
