Nitrogen Macerated Natural for 20 days, then dried until 11% moisture level and bagged in grain-pro and stored in abodega to allow more flavor absorption from the parchment.Roasted light in a Probat UG 15 with 11% development time ratio, with a whole bean Agtron score of 74 and ground at 90 to preserve its flavor and aroma characteristics. @probatroasters @instinct_roastery @pt_mlie Grinded into 3 different grind sizes using manual grinder, MK4 from @comandantegrinder for a controlled RPM, 9 gram - 20 Clix3 gram - 12 Clix 1 gram - 6 Clix Brewed using CT62 White Porcelain Dripper @tasterscoffee @jakehu1112 Which porcelain material is excellent for maintaining temperature, and the strategically placed vertical ribs help water and air flow circulating evenly through the coffee grounds for a controlled and even extraction.Supported with Sibarist Fast Paper Filter. @sibaristcoffee filter and its High Permeability, this paper allows water to flow faster and evenly, ensuring a smooth and efficient brewing, and resulting in a clean yet flavorful cup. @joaquim_morato Using customized water with APAX LAB at 85 ppm & 93 Celcius. which allows me to adjust water to extract the best bits & enhance/highlight the coffee flavors & texture. @apaxlab APAX LAB composition: [1] TONIK : 1gr / L [2] JAMM : 1.5 gr / L [3] LYLAC : 0.5 gr / L Served using [The M Cup] by @hide_izaki and Matsumoto-san of Arita Porcelain Lab! This year I had the chance to go compete in JBrC 2024. Competing has been on my mind in the last few years, and I am very grateful I finally have the chance to do it!Even though the result is not what I wanted it to be, this has been a great experience nevertheless.I had @chadvwi as a judge during my presentation! I didn’t have a chance to talk personally, but it was nice to have meeting you! 👋🏻The pressure, stress, and excitement in doing preparation for the competition has been a thrill that I never knew I needed amid my usual work routine.I am very thankful for all of the support I have received. especially @michelledjaya who has been watching and trying my endless brews at night. @pt_mlie , who has really helped me in selecting beans and @sabinasafa adjust recipe. @jhonrchristhoper who has been helping me revise, improve and point out the mistakes in my script and presentation. @onohikaru1986 who helped me with identifying flavor notes in the last second and who gave me extra confidence! @_hirosan with the advice and support!not forgetting @mycoffeejournal who gave me idea to wrap my concept beautifully.mistakes learnt, and issues encountered during preparation and competition.
