More of a filler type post, but I wanted thank everyone pictured plus so many more for making this first year at UTK so unforgettable in the best way possible. I can’t wait to reconnect and meet so many more amazing people next semester, and I wish everyone reading this an amazing summer! šŸ˜œšŸ˜Žā˜€ļøāœŒļøšŸŒ“ taken in University of Tennessee, Knoxville by @vinoeo24

For those that don’t already know, I was extremely fortunate to have been given the opportunity to travel to Cookeville with my UTK civil engineering peers to the annual ASCE (American Society of Civil Engineers) convention. I’m so glad I was finally able to connect with such motivated, driven, and like-minded individuals, and am extremely proud of all the effort our team put in to each of our competitions. Watching all of the effort our Sustainable Solutions team and others put in finally wrap up in one short weekend was well worth it!

Thank you for being one of the most welcoming teams and clubs I have ever been a part of, and I can’t wait to be back next year! GBOā€¼ļøšŸŠ taken in Tennessee Tech University by @vinoeo24

El Salvador Pt. 2 šŸŒ‹

Here’s the more recent parts of the trip from El Volcán de Santa Ana (The Santa Ana Volcano), to Lago coatepeque (Lake Coatepeque) to the finale of my trip in the capital of San Salvador.

It’s insane to see the beauty of this country go beyond just landforms, as I got to see beautiful designed buildings, whether they be more of a neoclassical or modern style. Even in the historical center of the capital city of El Salvador, it was still extremely safe day or night. In the bustling city life as well, museum and library staff were all extremely happy to help with whatever questions I did have, something that isn’t always guaranteed.

I’m also grateful to have followed through and made a great deal of friends behind the scenes in this leg of my trip as well, making exploring all the more exciting.

Thank you all for keeping up, and I’ll once again leave the names of the locations below:

Slides 7-9: Lago Coatepeque

El Salvador: Part 1

El Salvador, once known as the murder capital of the world, is now considered one of, if not the safest country in all the western hemisphere. And for this drastic change, we can thank none other than president @nayibbukele , who now is largely responsible for imprisoning criminals and gang members across the country within the span of three short years. After imprisoning nearly 2% of the population of El Salvador, the country was finally safe enough for people to enjoy a life without fear. In one of the world’s most successful dictatorships of today, locals and tourists alike are able to walk the streets at night without fear of being jumped, count their money in public without fearing someone swiping it, and take far away trips to some of these vibrant locations in the country without fear of someone cutting it short.

When I thought of taking my first solo trip here, my main intention wasn’t as much to prove how safe it was, as it was to see the various sights and practice my Spanish with locals. Despite this, I believe it proves just that… the ability for someone visiting from thousands of miles away to have an amazing experience throughout their trip without anything standing in the way.

Aside from tourists alone, you can even see how grateful the locals truly are that their once amazing country has been restored. I was lucky to see this joy of the locals firsthand through the friendliness and hospitality presented with nearly every interaction.

Below I’ll bookmark the various locations, so you can search up the details online as you see fit:

Slide 1-2: air and El Salvador international airport.
Slide 3-5, 8-11: El Zonte Beach
Slide 6-7: Las Cascadas De Tamanique (Tamanique waterfalls)
Slide 12: Some long road near Sonsonate
Slide 13,16: Cafe Albania on La Ruta De Las Flores
Slide 14-15: Juayua on La Ruta De Las Flores
Slide 17-18: NAWI beach house

Thanks if you read this far. Part two is coming soonšŸ˜.

This one’s to one of the best friends I’ve known for about four years now. Some of you might not know Cole, but he is wise with a kind soul. One might not expect someone with such maturity as he has to also be so passionate and humorous, but he’s got it all. It took a year before we could call each other friends, but I’m glad I got to know him. I know he’s got a bright future, and I’m thankful for moments and trips like these with family and friends. I’ve loved all these memories between him and all my friends in between, and I hate to see all of our paths splitting. Nevertheless, I’m so thankful for my parents for taking me on this final big trip for the summer!

Also, if you’ve been debating, anyone who gets a chance should consider the Tetons and Yellowstone I promise you will NOT be disappointed. Goodbye for now!

I realize you guys prolly aren’t gonna wanna watch to the end of this (unless you’re a real fan 🤪) but I just wanted to highlight my progress since the first guitar video I posted a little more than half a year ago now. The more I play these songs I love, the more I realize the tenor 1 I was a few months ago is slowly fading away, so I hope to learn as many of these high vocal songs as possible before that happens!! I can’t remember if I’ve shared this song as a video before but here’s a take from today. Please let me know what you guys think as a comment (I’m always open to suggestions that would help me improve!) šŸ™ #radiohead #radioheadband #fakeplastictrees by @vinoeo24

Just a little edit I made. The more I think about how busy and chaotic these past few years have been, the more I begin to wonder how little me would think of myself. I’m sure he’d be proud knowing that his older self would grow to make friends with such amazing people that would help him grow and even start to mold into the person he is, thanks to the motivation they had given him. I’m so thankful for every one of you to being such a helpful guide along my journey through this first chapter of my life, and I couldn’t have done it without your support. I’ve been given some amazing opportunities some may never have a chance to see, and my making of this video is mainly to show my appreciation and gratitude for being given the chance to go to so many places to visit, perform, and see the world in this beautiful light I have seen it in so far. I hate to see it end so soon, but I hope later to make some more memories with some more amazing people!

Realized it’s been an eternity since I’ve posted, and also that the fun times are flying by. Though it’s stressful, I’m glad I get to finish out high school involved in so much. I’ve made more friends and memories this year than I feel I have every other year since I started school, and that’s all because I ventured out and said yes to just about any choice or decision that crossed my path. Thank you all for a wonderful spring semester so far, and I’ll appreciate these final moments as I close out the year! by @vinoeo24

Hey everyone. Yes I’m still alive!

It’s been maybe a month or two since I started trying to learn guitar, and I’m extremely proud to call the song ā€œSparksā€ the first full song I’ve been able to play through and it sound halfway decent. Though there are rough spots and parts of the song I may have botched, I see this as a great stepping stone for other amazing songs I could learn on this wonderful instrument!

My journey and improvements have been slow but consistent so far, and I owe that consistency and motivation to my good friend @asher.durci alongside all of the other guitarists featured most Fridays during choir on ā€œSolo Fridayā€.

I didn’t want to believe Asher when he told me that he was self-taught on guitar, as every time he got it out he always played crazy licks and knew just about every tune. I believe this glaze is well deserved, and I have been wondering why I hadn’t started trying to learn the guitar as long ago as he had

If you watched to the end, I appreciate your interest in seeing what I was able to put together this far. Thanks guys! See you soon! by @vinoeo24

Been a while since I gave a little life update so here it is. I’m immensely proud and have had a ton of fun over the past few months!

I’m happy to have joined The Devil’s Chord (1st slide) and Chamber choir as I get to sit in with many talented singers once a week and hear beautiful harmonies which I never would have been able to if I didn’t build up the courage to audition. It’s a great time and everyone was welcoming to someone who knew nothing about the nature of choir even two seasons ago.

I had a great fall break trip to Gatlinburg and got to see the mountains in the midst of some fall colors šŸ(which I have never seen before even after countless visits). We went to Dollywood, and I also hiked the last remaining trail I needed to have hiked all five trails up to the top of Mt. Leconte!

It has been a spectacular couple of months and I want to thank everyone for making it that way! by @vinoeo24

Seattle & Western Washington Part 3-

And here’s everything I missed. The most scenic of all the views throughout the trip was arguably Hurricane Ridge. The drive was about 18 miles to a high part in the mountains where you still had a little more of a hike to get to the top where you could see groups of snow capped mountain ridges continuing well off into the distance. I had a great trip to a place farther West than I’ve ever been before, and I’m so grateful to have gotten to see everything I did in this past week.

Add these destinations to your bucket list if you’d like:

Slide 2: Sakai Park at Bainbridge Island
