Sausage and Cherry Pepper Pan Fried Sicilian Pizza ASMR I had to break out the big pizza knife from @dextercutlery to slice through this crunchy beast! I’ll admit, this was more crunchy than a typical Pan Fried Sicilian Pizzas i strive to make, but the person i was making it for likes it that way! Do you like soft, crispy, extra crispy, or super crunchy? #asmr #panfried #sicilianpizza #pizzacutter #homemadepizza by @virtualpizzaacademy

🍤🍕 SHRIMP COCKTAIL PIZZA?! 🔊 ASMR Pizza Cutting! This might be one of the most unusual pizzas I’ve ever made, but I was SHOCKED by how much I enjoyed it! I asked my followers for ideas on how to use the NEW @CortoOlive Horseradish EVOO, and Ivan Hinkle suggested a SHRIMP COCKTAIL PIZZA! My wheels started spinning, and I realized I could incorporate ALL THREE of Corto’s Agrumato Method olive oils: Horseradish, Lemon Verbena, and Calabrian Chili! Here’s how I made it! 👇 🍅 PIZZA COCKTAIL SAUCE • @StanislausFoodProducts Tomato Magic Ground Tomatoes • Extra Hot Horseradish • Corto Horseradish EVOO • Worcestershire Sauce • Salt 🍋 WHIPPED LEMON RICOTTA • @Galbani Ricotta Cheese • Corto Lemon Verbena EVOO • Whole Milk • Fresh Lemon Zest • @AR’s Hot Honey • Salt 🍤 BUILDING THE 14” SHRIMP COCKTAIL PIZZA • 13 oz Pizza Dough • Pizza Cocktail Sauce • Mozzarella Cheese • Lightly Sautéed Shrimp • Whipped Lemon Ricotta • Fresh Chives • Corto Calabrian Chili EVOO to finish 🔥 Baked at 550°F on a @BakingSteel! The biggest surprise? That pizza cocktail sauce! The tomato, horseradish, and Worcestershire combination worked WAY better on pizza than I ever expected. The lemon ricotta added a nice balance, and the Calabrian Chili EVOO brought some heat to finish it off! Definitely not your everyday pizza, but sometimes the crazy ideas turn out to be pretty darn good! Be honest… WOULD YOU TRY SHRIMP COCKTAIL PIZZA?! 🍤🍕 #ShrimpCocktail #PizzaASMR #HomemadePizza #PizzaRecipe #cortooliveoil by @virtualpizzaacademy
Which VPA Founder did @mullet_review costume better?! Jim and Jimmy both dressed up as the hot blonde for Halloween. It was originally Jimmy's idea, Jim built his costume first, but who wore it better? Jimmy H or Jim M? by @virtualpizzaacademy

💧🍕 IS IT IN THE WATER?! Does chlorine affect pizza dough? I was getting ready to make pizza dough when I noticed a pretty strong chlorine smell coming from my kitchen faucet. I’ve actually noticed it for the past few days, but it really hit me when I started filling my water pitcher. It was strong enough to make me stop and think twice about using it in my dough! 🤔 I know chlorine can potentially impact yeast activity and fermentation, but how much chlorine does it actually take to make a difference? I hadn’t researched it when I filmed this video, so rather than take any chances, I grabbed some filtered water from the fridge instead. I’m going to dig into the science a little more, but in the meantime, I want to hear from YOU! 💧 Do you use tap water, filtered water, or bottled water for your pizza dough? 🍕 Have you ever noticed a difference in fermentation or the finished pizza based on the water you use? Drop your experiences and thoughts in the comments! 👇 #VirtualPizzaAcademy #PizzaDough #PizzaMaking #PizzaScience #HomemadePizza by @virtualpizzaacademy
Homemade Pan Fried Sicilian with Pepperoni and peppers! I enjoy this cold weather because the pizza garage often gets to this 55f to 60f degree environment which is great for slow pan proofing my doughs. I left this one in the pan for about 16 hours, which at 70f would have easily overproofed and collapsed. But in that 55-60 range, it’s warmer than my 39f fridge and cooler than my 70f room temp inside. I just love that slow rise. I like the crumb structure with some nice variation in air pockets, but no huge air bubbles. The aroma is also magnified more than a quick pan proofing. These are slight nuances that I notice throughout the year making pan fried, but this time of year is my favorite for pan pizzas! Are you paying attention to how your dough behaves? What is your favorite time of year to make pizza? #panfried #sicilian #sicilianpizza #homemadepizza #panpizza by @virtualpizzaacademy
Pepperoni, Cherry Pepper, and Banana Pepper Pan Fried Sicilian Pizza ASMR! 🍕🔥 I had to break out the pizza rocker from @lloydpans to slice through this crunchy beast! Loaded with pepperoni, cherry peppers, and banana peppers for a little spicy, tangy kick! I’ll admit, this one was crunchier than the typical Pan Fried Sicilian Pizza I strive to make, but the person I was making it for likes it that way! How do YOU like your pizza crust? Soft, crispy, extra crispy, or SUPER CRUNCHY? 👇 #asmr #panfried #sicilianpizza #pizzacutter #homemadepizza by @virtualpizzaacademy
Pillowy Pepperoni Sicilian Pizza with ASMR CRUNCH I spend so much time making NEPA pan fried Sicilian in the pizza garage that i forget to make the classic american sicilian! This bad boy was super light and super crisp. Do you enjoy Sicilian pizza or are you more into thin crusts? #asmr #pizzacutter #sicilianpizza #asmrfood #pepperonipizza by @virtualpizzaacademy
The NO FLOP KING?! We may have to rethink the Frico King’s moniker after he pulled this zero flop pizza put of that @probakeinc @polin_group pizza oven! What’s most impressive about how crispy and sturdy this base is that he heavily topped this pizza with a ton of chopped ribeye steak. The steak has a lot of moisture and weight which usually causes the crust to bend. Having watched @jimmyhank_pizza make this pizza live, interactive noticed a few things. First, his stretching technique was on point which yielded an even dough stretched perfectly. I also noticed he used a screen to ensure his pizza was the right size before dressing the pizza. Next, the cheese on bottom helped prevent moisture from penetrating the dough. He also didn’t smother the dough with excessive cheese which traps moisture in. Finally, he used that ProBake Polin oven which bakes pizza so consistently and reliably to achieve that crispy crust. He was also able to dial in the exact temps to create the perfect environment for this pie to bake! That’s my play by play, let’s see if JimmyHank agrees! -Jim M @nepapizzareview by @virtualpizzaacademy
