It’s not just a quote, it’s standing for something.. what’s true. To “fit in” is the easiest thing to do.. be agreeable, follow the group.. I could keep going.

Do as you please, but you always have free will.

We’re coming out of an era where we couldn’t even speak without being labelled, from a massive divide based on va**ine status. Where “spirituality” sometimes frames everything as “love and light” .. and is hardly integrated.

Selling your soul isn’t some Hollywood mystery, it happens piece by piece everytime you go against what’s true… when you manipulate to win.. when you participate in scapegoat cancel culture.

This is a spiritual world, whether you believe it or not + my soul will always be .. mine.

I thought an accident brought me back to Kelowna. Now I wonder if I came back to see a pattern so deeply embedded that I almost mistook it for my own choices.

Having Harlem beside me through all of this and watching how deeply he trusts that he is loved has healed something in me I didn’t know was still waiting to be held.

I cannot rewrite the childhood I had, but I can shape the childhood he remembers.

If your parents failed you, you are not alone. Your anger deserves somewhere to go, but giving the world the same pain they gave you only keeps the wound moving.

We become the change we needed by refusing to pass it forward.

Maybe I came back here to break the pattern and become the mother I needed. taken in Kelowna, British Columbia by @vision_witchh
