We didn’t pick up cameras just to make videos 🙅🏼‍♂️

We wanted to build something together, meet good people and help tell stories that mean something.

I think we’re underselling Orangetheory.

If the message is that Orangetheory helps you burn calories, carry your groceries, help you tie your shoes and make everyday tasks easier, I believe the bar is too low. Yes, those things might matter to some people but Orangetheory isn’t just a calorie-burning workout or to help you get dressed.

It can definitely be performance training. It can also help you with many other things like:

• Build muscle and strength
• Improve cardiovascular conditioning
• Increase work capacity
• Burn fat and improve body composition
• Improve speed, power and muscular endurance
• Prepare your body for high-intensity competition
• Become a stronger, more capable athlete

After almost 12 years of coaching, I believe Orangetheory is capable of a hell of a lot more than we sometimes give it credit for.

Hyrox has given me an opportunity to put that training to the test and it works.

However, here’s where I want to challenge the way you think about Orangetheory.

The template is only the starting point and when you take my class, I don’t want you simply completing the workout. I want you to understand why you’re doing it.

How can we use today’s workout to make you better at what you’re trying to accomplish?

Whether your goal is your first Hyrox, building muscle, losing body fat, running faster, getting stronger or simply becoming more capable, I want your training to have purpose.

I’m not interested in simply reading you today’s template and getting you through another workout.

If carrying the groceries gets easier along the way, great. But I want to find out what else you’re truly capable of doing.

Think Deeper. Train Smarter. Live Better.

Find a teammate who makes you wonder how much more you’ve got 💯

Someone who raises your standard. Makes you want to show up prepared. And gives you another reason to keep pushing when the race starts getting heavy 💪🏻

These two were FAST. Filming them meant trying to keep up while reminding myself we had a job to do 😂🎥

That’s one of my favorite parts of being behind the camera. We get invested. We’re following your race, rooting for you, and trying to capture something that feels as good to watch as it felt to live 📺

Some HYROX friendships turn into something so much bigger than racing 💕✨

Jess and I have so much love for these two strong, powerful women 🫶🏼🌟 Phaedra + Kristin have become great friends and forever more than just HYROX fam 💯 Watching them step into their Women’s Pro Solo races at HYROX Salt Lake City, we couldn’t have been more proud 🥹

These pre-race interviews mean so much because you get to hear the heart behind the athlete 🌸✨ The gratitude for their coaches, their home gyms, their communities, friends + family who continue to pour into them and support the journey 💛💕

And we HAVE to give some love to Coach Al @gogettaal, HOAS Training @haostraining + Hunter McIntyre @huntthesheriff for being part of that journey and helping these women continue to level up 💪🏼🌟
