I’m delighted to see this beautiful book in the world. A great collaborative labour with my team of two (thank you Brynn Schandall-O’Donoghue!) and the essential @mrrazovsky (editor) and @friesensbooks (printer). This is the third volume in Paul Gartside’s series of books for #boatbuilders #boatdesigners and #boatlovers — 24 Ready-to-Build boat designs in this volume, #handdrawn plans included. The boats are wood construction in traditional and contemporary techniques. Follow @gartsideboats — discover much more at gartsideboats.com.

Day 502. 10:00 am

The sky this morning was particularly busy
diverse movements of air and water
clouds
earth’s breath

Did you know I post a daily sequence of sky photos? This durational photography project has been rolling, with a few gaps, since 2015. The first #skyproject began on this instagram account, and totals 1000 days. The second round, #skyproject2, has surpassed 500.

See all of #skyproject2 here: @skyproject.ca

This is pretty cool 😎 One of my poems is on the long list for National Poetry Competition hosted by The Poetry Society UK…out of 19,030 poems…by 8,841 poets…that’s a lot of poems and poets! Thanks to @thepoetrysociety 🌞🌞🌞

Every little glimmering shard of acknowledgment is precious in this writing life ♥️ Here’s hoping that poem will be published in a wee book sometime soon …
