Just wrapped on this architecture documentary. One thing that stuck with me from all these interviews is how many people, roles, and stories go into projects like these. With this piece the goal was just to capture a glimpse of what that looks like.

At heart the doc follows two architecture firms in BC who were awarded the Lieutenant Governor's Award by the AFBC (Architecture Foundation of BC) But the project opens up into something bigger— a look at:

-How these buildings are actually lived in and experienced
-How they respond to their surroundings, whether urban or rural,
-The community they shape
-What architecture and design excellence looks like right now

Show, Don’t Tell
Excited to finally share this one, a spec commercial for @garmin

As an athlete, personal trainer, and now someone reaching bigger audiences through social media, the same has stayed constant: pushing to the next level and uplifting the people around. Walking the walk as much as the talk, and that’s exactly what drew us to creating this piece.

So we wanted to share a glimpse of that. Where it stems from, what motivates underneath it all, then built the piece around that core. We shot over a couple of days with a great crew helping bring this idea to life.

What started as a simple idea evolved into something much more—a story about movement, resilience, and the connection between running and mental health. This project follows Jordan Howe (Fine Parts YVR) as he shares his journey and the role running has played in shaping his mindset.

This wouldn’t have been possible without Jordan’s trust in allowing me to tell his story, and the creative support of Shane Hauser, who helped bring this vision to life.

Storytelling is always a collaboration, and I’m grateful for the time, effort, and energy that went into making this happen.

Been diving into some other projects, and as this one continues to move along , I’m excited to share more frames and some behind-the-scenes over on @projectstartshere. 
This project is a mini-documentary about @finepartsyvr—his journey with running and mental health. It’s been a few months in the making, from storyboarding to the past few weekends of shooting. Now, it’s in the edit, and with some fresh looks to the frames, I couldn’t help but share a few more frames.

Interview setup from our recent rebrand shoot with @pgperformance. 
The goal of this piece was to bring impact to a new chapter for the shop — sharing the shift in direction in a way that felt honest and grounded. We kept things minimal with a simple interview setup to spotlight the connection between Paul and his customers.
