I didn’t plan for this. There were weeks I felt tired, unmotivated, and unsure. Some hikes were harder than expected, some days my mind felt heavier than my backpack. But somehow, one step led to another and I ended the year having completed 40 hikes. I can’t believe it myself. Proof that consistency doesn’t always look perfect, it just shows up. #mountaingirl by @vithyiamurugiah

Khardung La Pass, Ladakh 🏔️

Rising to 5,359 m (17,582 ft) above sea level, Khardung La is one of the world’s highest motorable mountain passes.

Spend just 5 minutes here, and the altitude can hit you with a brutal headache. 😵‍💫❄️

4:00 AM. While the world was still asleep, we woke up to witness the first light touch the Himalayas. 🌅

By 6:00 AM, we were sitting inside the sacred walls of Thiksey Monastery, surrounded by the sound of prayers, the mountain air, and a silence that felt almost unreal. 🕊️🙏🏻

No rush. No noise. No distractions.
Just the sunrise, the prayers, and a morning that felt like a blessing.

Some places you visit.
Some moments you feel.

Late post, but that day still lives in me… the cold air, the ground pulling at every step, legs sinking and slipping + quiet struggle… and then the view at the top. Calm, almost unreal like the whole world paused just for a moment, and somehow, it made everything worth it. ♥️ by @vithyiamurugiah
