would you come? by @vmbut
So my therapist advised to think more of everything I’ve achieved so far. And I haven’t posted here in a while. So here’s a post on how I got to where I am now, I guess This was filmed in Amsterdam during my work trip with a brand (ye, I do count it as an achievement in itself) Wanna do more! Always! Another chance to promote @_come_n_see_ I never thought I’m a workaholic until I was proved otherwise. Multiple times. **haven’t openED !!! (sometimes I think I have dyslexia or whatever is a fancy way of saying I don’t notice wrong spelling until it’s too late) by @vmbut
Come n See presents ‘I (Don’t) Know!’ This is one of our most special events. It bends our usual concept a little - normally, you come for the theme, not the film. But this time, we’ve managed to get our hands on two special documentaries by director Penelope Spheeris, offering a rare and intimate portrait of queer life in 1970s Los Angeles. Although you’ll know the titles in advance - we still encourage you to resist looking them up and simply trust the experience. These films have only ever been screened in the UK at Tate Modern (2015) and the London Short Film Festival (2020). Now, they’re coming to Come n See (2026). Special indeed. The immersion, as always, continues beyond the screen with an accompanying art exhibition and music performance, guiding you through a layered exploration of how identity can be formed, expressed, questioned and reimagined through acts of self-authorship. £13 Tickets via Eventbrite (link in bio) 🖤 • Thursday 6th August 2026 • 7pm doors open, 7:30pm film starts • @thearthouselive by Acrylicize, 30–36 Pritchard’s Rd, London E2 9AP We will be partnering with @notaphaseorg to sell prints, with all proceeds donated to support transgender and gender-diverse individuals across the UK. Come n See is made by queers, for queers (and allies) The Art House by @acrylicize provides project, studio, and event space, all to nurture and amplify contemporary arts and culture, with a dynamic public programme spanning visual arts, performance, film, literature, music, and artist residencies. by @vmbut

Come n See presents ‘Beyond Borders’ Come n See is back for another immersive film club night! The evening continues long after the credits roll with a curated mix of visual art and music responding to the themes of our chosen film, inviting you to stay, reflect and spend more time in it’s world. ‘Beyond Borders’ celebrates South Asian stories through themes of queerness, diaspora and the universal desire for connection, inviting audiences to engage across different cultures and lived experiences. Featuring a film screening, an art exhibition and music. Tickets via eventbrite (link in bio) or Tickets on the door ⭐ • Thursday 4th June 2026 • 6:30pm doors open, film starts 7pm sharp • @thearthouselive by Acrylicize, 30–36 Pritchard’s Rd, London E2 9AP The Art House by @acrylicize provides project, studio, and event space, all to nurture and amplify contemporary arts and culture, with a dynamic public programme spanning visual arts, performance, film, literature, music, and artist residencies. this was the second event I’ve ever created. and it all started with a small idea I had about two years ago now. I’m so fortunate to be surrounded by amazing people willing to support this project and help. I’m so fortunate to have been able to bring together wonderful people who share my values and interests and thus create our own small community in this fast paced city. this is a huge achievement for me. even though my hands were shaking while holding a mic and thanking everyone for coming; even though it’s still only the beginning for us; even though I still think, “If I had done this earlier, we would have been more successful now.” but the fact is, I couldn’t have done it earlier. I often forget that I had to start the whole life from scratch three times. that’s three times more than the average person. so this is a huge achievement. for me. to be able to bring together about 90 people (although we hoped for twice less). I couldn’t have done it without the help of the wonderful people around me. but I found these people, often completely by accident, when i started my life here from scratch, again. I did it. come n see see you at the next one x by @vmbut

Thanks to all who participated and shared this moment with me, even though I asked to pretend I’m not there. as always, filming, editing, colourgrading and the concept - all by me by @vmbut
