Middle of the Night the debut album by @babybloodlotus is out 💫

production, mixing, mastering (all tracks)
co-production w titans @kuyaneil_ (tracks 3,7,9) + @heart___armour (track 2)

To think we barely knew each other when we started this project 3+ years ago @babybloodlotus. I remember in those early sessions you were immediately so vulnerable. Thanks for pouring your heart out and opening up your world to me ! It shows on this record and will be feeding generations. You got me on some of my most restrained production and unlocked songs and sounds i didn’t know i had in me. Most of all i’m grateful for this formidable n beautiful friendship we’ve forged able to withstand long road trips, acapella baile funk, and paranoid men in flip flops 🫂💙🦋 #sincereposting over by @voidhood

In what might be our craziest music video yet, 𝓘 𝓐𝓼𝓼𝓾𝓶𝓮 is out today, premiering via @mixmag and @rageabc 🏍️🤍🪽 link in bio x

We zoomed around in loops through a tunnel with a Taiwanese motorbike gang & sang on stage with the aunties and uncles at an old karaoke bar, as a homage to Wong Kar Wai’s beautiful film, ‘Fallen Angels’ 🥺🫶 my entire heart!!

This song was written about the transformative potential of grief ~ how someone might be gone, but the memory of them still remains; leaving traces that linger and later shape who we become. So grateful to share it with you all, thank you for listening, as always 💞 LOVE U!!!!!!!!

𝒩𝒾𝑔𝒽𝓉𝒻𝒶𝓁𝓁 (𝒻𝓉. 𝐻𝑒𝒶𝓇𝓉 𝒜𝓇𝓂❁𝓊𝓇) music video is out today 🖤 link in bio x

We got stuck in typhoon weather in the middle of summer in Taipei, ran around a rented love hotel, creeped down eerie corridors, and stomped through a haunted dress arcade where most of the shops had shut down while shooting this, trying to avoid security lol ~ thank you to the forever phenomenal director @reptilebasement for envisioning such a crazy MV, the absolutely incredible dream cinematographer @joeyknoxy for holding it down always, and the lovely @nelly_yang_ for scouting such insane locations❣️and more heartfelt thank yous to my amazing siblings in Sydney @heart___armour for our nourishing creative music collaborations, and to the central beating heart of this album, the extraordinary @voidhood x love you soooooooo much!!!
