We provide free, holistic, and trauma-informed advocacy, legal, and therapy services to survivors of ANY type of crime in DC.

We also participate in advocating for policy to support survivors of crime, provide trainings on trauma-informed practices across sectors, and engage with our community through outreach and education opportunities!

When systems fail to provide transparency and choice for survivors and victims' families, it can create a pattern of distrust for any future contact.

If a survivor ends or leaves an abusive relationship, it may feel like they've "succeeded" or "finished" their journey with domestic violence. This is misleading, because for many survivors, leaving is only one component of their story.
