Volcandra’s third LP ‘BEYOND THE WILL OF MORTALS’ is set to release on April 24th.

Limited 12” vinyl and CD are available for pre-order at prostheticrecords.com and bandcamp.

Music video for “Beyond The Will Of Mortals” streaming now. Shot and edited by Dave Palenske.

Recorded, mixed, and mastered by Mike Low (@mike__low )
Guitar re-amping by Jeremy Sosville (@north_country_riffworks )
Artwork by Adam Burke (@nightjarillustration )

‘Beyond The Will Of Mortals’ is a concept album with themes of corruption, deliverance, loss, revenge, and redemption all framed within an original high fantasy tale. Musically this record pushes the boundaries of what Volcandra has been known for since the band’s inception. We have continued to blend elements of black metal, melodic death metal, and thrash while taking our sound to further extremes on each side of the sonic spectrum. This is our most dynamic and collaborative effort to date. These songs have been blended into a cohesive body of work that is intended to be experienced in full.

Track listing:
1. Beyond The Will Of Mortals
2. Marauders Of The Cosmic Vortex
3. Venom Marsh Enchantress
4. Mage Of Fabled Sorcery
5. Mastery And Misery
6. Within The Webs
7. Rune Sentinel
8. Infinite Decadence
9. The Bestial Oath by @volcandra

Philly never disappoints! The spirit of heavy metal was in the air and glasses were raised in honor of the legendary Cronos who just left this mortal coil. Rest in Power!

We keep that spirit alive TONIGHT in Baltimore at @instawaxatlas. This is our last night sharing the stage with @grave.ripper.metal for the NECROMANCY & ALCHEMY TOUR before we perform at Under Appalachian Skies.

See you at one of these remaining shows!

@volcandra absolutely blew the top off of @theoldtowntheatre. I cannot stress to you how phenomenal this set was. They have absolutely skyrocketed to the top of my favorite metal bands, period. Do yourself a favor and go listen to their latest album, seriously.

All told, this stop of the Necromancy and Alchemy tour was a bone rattling breath of fresh air. Big thank you to the bands for stopping here in Old Town! 🤘🙌 by @volcandra
