Dear Friends and Supporters,

Today, we celebrate a victory for our community, our shared vision, and the future of Super District 7.

I am deeply honored and humbled to have earned your support and the opportunity to continue serving as your DeKalb County Commissioner. This victory belongs to every volunteer who knocked doors, made phone calls, hosted events, donated, shared our message, and encouraged others to vote. Most importantly, it belongs to the people of Super District 7 who believe in progress, accountability, and leadership that puts community first.

Together, we built a campaign rooted in integrity, service, and a commitment to delivering real results for our families, seniors, small businesses, and neighborhoods. Because of your trust and support, we can continue the important work of strengthening our communities, improving infrastructure, supporting economic development, protecting green spaces, and ensuring every resident has a voice at the table.

I want to thank my family, supporters, and every voter who participated in this election. Your encouragement, prayers, and belief in this mission carried us every step of the way.

Special Thanks to my AMAZING Rockstar Team: @thatsmisst @clinkcreativestrategies @vondamone @nanabananaa26

While today is a moment to celebrate, tomorrow we get back to work. There is still much to accomplish, and I remain committed to serving Super District 7 with transparency, compassion, and dedication.

Thank you for believing in my leadership and in the future we are building together.

With gratitude,
Dr. LaDena Bolton
DeKalb County Commissioner, Super District 7

Many of you know that I lost my Bishop at the end of 2025, Bishop Bobby Henderson, C.O.G.I.C. Worshipping at New Life under Pastor Harris and with my Brother in Christ, Micheal Bryant, has made this new journey that much easier.

I thank God for your presence in my family’s life and in our community. It is an honor to work with you in service to address major issues like housing options and affordability in DeKalb County.

Keep doing great thinks for the glory of the kingdom
💙💛

God has a blessing waiting on the other side. You just have to follow through!!

This election season has been very eventful with some unexpected players trying to the control race from the outside. I was blessed and refreshed at @dreamcenteratl where Bishop William Murphy III gave the word on how Great God is and that ‘We Refuse to go Back’.

That’s why we have to keep moving forward!! Blessed to Be a Blessing! Shouting Victory on May 19th 💙💛

🐝💙💛 Team Bolton had an amazing turnout for our fundraiser hosted by the Eritrean and Ethiopian communities, lead by my friend @isayas.m . Special thanks to @cover.atl for sharing your beautiful location and providing delicious cuisine.

I was honored that both @chakira4commissioner and @aweteyasu gave supportive remarks and testified to the great work we are doing in the community. My girl @stepeecee surprised me with her presence and brought a guest!!!

Last year we initiated several programs to help our small businesses and they came out to show their appreciation the other night.

Though you are grieving, you thought enough to show up for us and we are grateful for it. God bless and protect you all. 🙏🏽

🐝💙💛 Why hasn’t your road been paved yet?

The Board of Commissioners approve the funding mechanism, the budget and the list of proposed roads to be paved.

Under the CEOs leadership, the contracts are executed.

The strategy under SPLOST funding has been ‘Worst First’ so that the roads in the poorest condition gets paved first.

Unfortunately, SPLOST was approved by DeKalb voters for the first time in 2017 and thus far, there has only been enough money to pave about 500 roads. Good leadership is strategic and uses legislation to address problems in your community.

That’s why earlier this year, I introduced the People’s Choice legislation that urged the administration to allow community members to have input on a small percentage of which roads get paved.

🐝 Be Fruitful and Multiply 🐝

I attended a service at Change Church DeKalb, led by Pastor Dharius Daniels, where he shared a powerful message about the deeper meaning of the biblical instruction to “be fruitful and multiply.” He reminded us that this calling goes far beyond bearing children—it speaks to the work we produce, the impact we make, and the legacy we leave in the world. Pastor Daniels explained that a tree doesn’t eat its own fruit; its purpose is to nourish others, just as our gifts and actions are meant to enrich the lives around us.

He also pointed to Jesus as the ultimate example of fruitfulness—someone whose life, teachings, and sacrifice continue to transform the world generations later. His works didn’t just bear fruit in His lifetime; they set a model of service, love, and purpose that still shapes communities today. The message encouraged me to reflect on how each of us can live in a way that produces lasting good and uplifts others.
