NDUBUOKWU PIUS ESQ: EMINENT SPORTS ADVOCATE OF THE YEAR

On behalf of Judelucan Magazine, it was a profound privilege to present Ndubuokwu Pius @ndubuokwupiusc Esq with the prestigious award of Eminent Sports Advocate of the Year. This well-deserved recognition celebrates his remarkable contributions to the growth and development of sports, both locally and internationally.

The award presentation was one of the key moments at the Football Law Annual Moot @football_law_annual_moot (FLAM) 2024, a historic gathering of sports and legal stakeholders. Akwa Ibom State boasts a variety of notable tourist attractions: Here are my top 7 during my last visit..

- Ibom Icon Hotel & Golf Resort: A luxury resort in Uyo with an 18-hole golf course, swimming pool, and dining options, ideal for leisure and business retreats.

- Amalgamation House: Located in Ikot Abasi, this historic site marks the 1914 amalgamation of Northern and Southern Nigeria.

- Lord Lugard’s Residence: Also in Ikot Abasi, this colonial-era building offers insights into Nigeria's colonial history.

- Aba Women's Mock Grave: A symbolic site in Ikot Abasi commemorating the 1929 Aba Women's Riot against British colonial rule.

- The Bridge of No Return: In Uta Ewa, Ikot Abasi, this historical bridge is a poignant reminder of the slave trade era.

- The Slave Warehouse (Old Consulate Building): A historical landmark in Ikot Abasi, significant for its role in the transatlantic slave trade.

- Ibeno Beach: One of West Africa's longest sand beaches, perfect for relaxation, picnics, and water sports.

- Godswill Akpabio International Stadium: A modern stadium in Uyo, hosting national and international sports events.

Akwa Ibom State's attractions offer a mix of natural beauty, historical significance, and cultural richness, making it a compelling destination for diverse experiences.
