A new VV fire song is coming this winter of 2025.

Larita and Pat: We wrote the lyrics for this one together this past summer at some shady ass beach bar in Ensenada, Mexico. That same day, we actually kind of (uhh yeah) got arrested (briefly) for some unfortunate, but subsequently -kind of- hilarious misunderstanding that was luckily cleared up. It’s good to have friends in places. Wha? Exactly. The Mexican military really has no sense of humor. But we do. However, we don’t think we’re welcome back in that area for a little while.

Building on Vulca Veii’s debut single Deadlights, the upcoming single further evolves in a new musical direction for Vega. Full blown vocals, more electronics and a lot of restraint in the guitars. Trip hop electronic vibes with rock guitars and sexy ass bad girl vocals. Always constant on fire, intensity and passion, this song surely takes the Vulca Veii warfare fire content to a new level.

The new single features Larita Tinoro on Vocals, Patrick Vega on guitars, Mato Waya on bass and Nick Adams on drums.

Music, electronics and programming courtesy of Vega with Tinoro’s, Vulcan’s and Kali’s (🐾) assistance. World class Mezcalitas, Palomas, nuclear-sensual input and next level Doberman cuddles. What can go wrong?

It’s a wrap. The drums 🥁 for the new VV song are DONE. VV’s @nickadamsdrums knocked it out of the park and into another city in another county on that one. This new VV song is pretty intricate and specific production wise and Nick totally nailed the tone, vibe, the groove and everything else. We are stoked. Fire drums for a fire song.

Next up is vocals now… 🎙️
We’ll reveal the special guest on vocals in the next post to keep this whole thing super mystical and exciting.

The new single will probably hit all platforms in their faces before this year’s over!

Despite a happy delay (a certain someone in the band is getting married :), the new Vulca Veii single, L******+ ** ****, is still scheduled for a late 2025 release on FFF Music (no, for real, I’m looking at the final cover design right now and am doing automation on some guide tracks).

If you haven’t checked out the recently released Deadlights by Vulca Veii yet, have a listen. This song is a first for me: a collaboration with a vocalist. A fusion of instrumental guitar vibes and seductive and sexy female vocals. Musically and lyrically, it’s a nod to and was inspired by poetry, some of my guitar heroes and favorite bands as diverse as Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails), Robert Smith (The Cure), Steve Vai, Marilyn Manson, Yngwie J. Malmsteen and Edward Van Halen. The title was inspired by IT (big surprise) and the overall vibe by the movie Point Break.

Building on the evolution of Deadlights, the new song is perhaps my most intense so far and a full on vocal song. It will feature extensive use of synthesizers, 808 triggers and rock guitars and is currently in production and in recording status. It will also feature a special guest on vocals 🙏🔥
