Join us at Roca London Gallery for Resonant Lightscapes - Gadi Sassoon Live, a live performance exploring the relationship between light, technology and sound.

Artist and composer @gadisassoon will capture the shifting reflections within the Resonant Lightscapes exhibition using a camera, transforming them into data and translating that data into sound in real time.

The result is continuous feedback loop between reflection, image, information and sound - making the behaviour of light within the installation audible.

Taking place just head of London Design Festival, the performance leads into Roca London Gallery’s participation in this year’s festival and its exploration of the intersections between design, technology, light and sound.

With @yaelerel_light @avner_bennatan @vulpestruments @slice.of.alicelife
Featuring the work of @lightexture

Had an amazing day yesterday installing some work with the incredible @gadisassoon for an exhibition that will be up in Shoreditch as part of London Design Festival.

For it, I created a @spokeboard interface that uses live moss as triggers for Gadis kinetic sculpture.

Not shown in this post are the visuals and audio that accompany this exhibition which are incredible.

It runs from September 1st to 17th at @artotellondonhoxton. by @vulpestruments

In a Nick Drake sort of mood today.

Instrument is made from bamboo planks, metal leaves and a @spokeboard mini running Circuitpython to handle the touch/midi.

Close up shots of the new MIDI instrument. Pewter cast fungi are the capacitive touch points that connects to the @spokeboard mini.

The log is from a tree, cut in half and hollowed out in order to house the electronics. by @vulpestruments

I built an instrument from a log, some pewter-cast fungi and a @spokeboard mini.

I felt @cosmosheldrake would be the most appropriate artist to cover on this song as his work is so influenced and crafted by nature.

I made a few mistakes but thought it was best to leave them in so you can see it's actually playing. by @vulpestruments

Check out the latest The Official Raspberry Pi Magazine for an interview with yours truly @rpimag.
They also gave @spokeboard a 9/10 review which is humbling considering the whole project is based around their tech. by @vulpestruments
