Zunza and Mauya are out on all streaming platforms!
We celebrated with friends and family last week at the Beresh Arts den @ckuaradio. We had so much fun and can't wait to do it again! This was made possible with the support of our community! Our most special thanks to our wonderful vocalists who worked with us for weeks and absolutely crushed it!! @r_ziny @ereniyeg @karenporrkamusic.
Thanks to @w.media_ for capturing the spirit of the event so well with this recap video; our media sponsor @homewithval; our venue sponsor @bantukhaya; @djsq2010 who started the evening off by taking us on a mbira inspired journey, our opening act Bantu Groove; @reckielloyd of @sangea_academy who blessed us with his djembe on zunza; and our family and friends who supported with everything from registration and spreading the word! Special shout out to @mr_bradsmith who mixed, engineered and co-produced both Zunza and Mauya Mauya.

We can't wait to share the rest of the album with you all!

I never thought I would love teaching, but now I look forward to teaching photography every week! Since last spring I have had multiple opportunities to teach young kids photography, confidence and creativity with the help of the Edmonton Boys and Girls Club (@bgcbigs ).

The goal is to provide youth with a positive outlet they can grow into a creative outlet or even make it their future career path🤞🏼I can’t wait to continue to grow my youth photography program here in Edmonton and meet more amazing people on the way! I got the incredible opportunity to go to Jasper and be apart of the 15th year of the Dark Sky Festival this past October. I DJ’d for a bunch of amazing families before they got to see @iamtalk live!

Thank you so much to Erin and her absolutely remarkable team over at @foundry.events and the wonderful people @tourismjasper for having me come and spread some musical joy through the mountains!

It was my first time staying in Jasper and seeing how the wildfires had left the town, it made my heart sink. The people of Jasper are so kind, strong and have been through so much but stay positive and hopeful while trying to rebuild. It put a smile on my face to see so many people in Commemoration Park just laughing, dancing and enjoying life. It was definitely an experience I will never forget! taken in Jasper, Alberta by @w.media_
