Most panelling jobs look off for the same four reasons.
Spacing. Proportion. Height. And doing too much.

Cutting a Return Mitre on a Dado Rail is the best way for a neat and expensive-looking finish. No end cut showing, and a nice & charming detail.

Would you cut yours like this?

Shaker wall panelling for under £100? This is it! No joiner needed, you just cut them to size, glue it, pin it & paint in any colour you’d like. Want it taller? Just cut the strips in bigger sizes (we have them in 2.4m and 3.05m).

Save this for your next project, and send it to a friend that needs a makeover.

The acoustic slat walls panels, from Wall Panels World, they look fantastic

In shot includes an Ikea hack desk I made. More can be seen on my grid for this.

Three details that made such a difference to our hallway 🤍

Panel mouldings from @wallpanelsworld gave the plain walls more character, Gimcyn Luxury textured paint from @imperaitalia brought depth to the panels, and our wine wall with warm lighting turned the empty spac beneath the stairs into a feature 🍷

It’s been a gradual transformation, one project at a time and seeing the before makes me appreciate it even more.

Swipe to see how it looked before 👉

Which detail would you add to your home: panelling, textured paint or a wine wall? 🤭

Save this for hallway inspiration 🤍

AD - Hello & happy Friday! I hope you’ve all had a fantastic week 🤩

I’m so excited to show you how the bathroom is coming along, I’ve been working away in the background getting all the panelling completed, which has certainly been a labour of love with getting those finishing touches just right ✨

We used the panelling to conceal the pipe work as it’s much easier to remove some panelling rather than pull up the floor if something goes wrong and we need to access the pipes! So the result is practical and very aesthetically pleasing 😍

Now it’s onto the other side of the bathroom to start the tiling and then hopefully a full finished room reveal soon!

Here is the link for the tongue and groove panelling we used from @wallpanelsworld - really fab quality and we’re delighted with the finished result!

Every colour brings something different to a room.

Bright, warm tones bring character and confidence. Earthy, grounded tones feel collected and lived-in. Dark and moody makes the panelling the whole atmosphere. Soft neutrals keep things calm. Swipe through for all four.

Save this before you pick a colour.

Ad I feel like this has taken me far longer than it usually would but if you’ve been following my stories for the last month or so…it’s been a busy one!

Finally I finished the landing panelling 🙌🏻 Why oh why do I have to be different and choose a pattern that meant lots and lots of cutting!? BUT it was worth it in the end (as always!) and I LOVE how it’s looking!

Next up, finish painting and then on to my favourite part…the wallpapering 🤎

Panelling used:

✨Ogee 2 MDF primed
✨Astragal MDF primed

Both from @wallpanelsworld and @skirtingworld

Forever in my DIY era 💅🏼🔨

One girl, one feature wall and absolutely no assistance required 💪
I wanted to see if I could tackle this one completely by myself and honestly… it was SO much easier than I expected!

Ad. I used the @wallpanelsworld Acoustic Slat Wall Panel in Light Oak and I cannot get over the difference it’s made to the room 🤎 It looks like a full transformation for something that was actually so simple to do!

Consider this your sign to stop overthinking the DIY and just give it a go ✨💕

🤍 PLAIN TO COSY 🤎

It’s Autumn which means a switch up of decor pieces and styling, and as you all know I love transforming spaces with @wallpanelsworld so I thought why not transform a plain wall in the living room and make it cosy, not only for this season but all year round☺️

I decided to create a classic square picture-frame panelling design for a timeless feel by using decorative trim strips to add a bit more character✨

What I used ~
Standard Astragal MDF panel moulding
Large Astragal MDF panel moulding

I also decided to paint the space with @valsparpaintuk in the shade ‘Sheepskin rug’ - a light, warm beige shade with gentle yellow undertones to give the panelling a cosy feel🤎
