The last time I felt this passionate about a piece of software is when I first discovered Figma…

while hyper-fixation is often something people with ADHD experience, people who suffer from OCD (hi, it me 🙋🏻‍♀️) also struggle with this. Intense hyper-fixation has been one of my pitfalls in remote work since I started.

so in case anyone else is in a similar boat… I highly suggest you check out @sunsamahq

Whoever comments the correct number of times I say talk/taking wins. 😅

But actually… talking about what EXCITES you is the way (IMO). If that’s social growth, great! If it’s something totally different, also great!

I LOVE designing brands and websites for my clients, but when it comes to my content, I enjoy talking about other things as well!

There is a ton of business (and life) advice out there that I think is total bullshit.

However, the advice to keep going especially at the moment you desperately want to quit, is a golden nugget of truth.

Everyone that appears lucky beyond belief or was an overnight success is, well, neither of those things. They just stayed in the game long enough to outlast those that quit early. And yes… sometimes it takes years and years.

I received a DM the other day criticizing me for my “inspirational videos” because I was falsely portraying the amount of success a “normal” person could achieve.

First of all… what is a “normal” person?? Second of all my good sir, I’ve been at this almost 7 years and I finally feel like I’ve broken through to a place where I feel more comfortable and consistent in my business.

So yeah. Keep going and don’t listen to the haters or the negative voices in your head.
