Last night's Office ❤️

It takes immense courage, a truckload of trust and a sense of humour to invite an English speaking storyteller to a festival where the majority of the audiences are Spanish speakers. @palabrasalvuelo and @cristinatemprano took that chance.

To mitigate things :-) they gave me this amazing resource that is Marta. She speaks English, French, Spanish and Catalan. We had our first event last evening and I can say that she is not just a translator, but rather a co-storyteller.

I also got a chance to experience performances from the other storytellers - Simone (Italy), Pepito (France), Estrella (Spain), Pablo (Spain) and Isabel (Spain). It's amazing how much I enjoyed it, even with the language barrier.

Today's Office ❤️
Library Week at @potterhouse_school has been a hive of fun and games. It was lovely being the Chief Guest as the week climaxed, not just to share stories but also enjoy presentations from the pupils. Gave me such a thrill to see some of my titles at their library! Thank you Ms. Anne for the invitation, and @schoollibrarianske for the connection.
