Teacher Librarian of the Year - Natasha Georgiou from Kennedy Baptist College

Rebecca & I are currently representing WASLA at the Professional Teaching Council of WA’s President’s Forum. It is an opportunity for us to network with other WA teaching associations and look at governance issues. Hopefully this networking will bear fruit in the future to benefit our members. by @waslapln

Kevin Hennah is returning to Perth in March. Please see his workshop details below. If you haven't been to one of his workshops, it is worth it. Even if you aren't planning a major refurbishment or new library, his workshops have plenty of great ideas on how to make your existing library look more appealing. Here are the details:
Kevin Hennah has carried out over 2,000 library consultations internationally. His new workshop Rethink, Reinvent, Rejuvenate-2 showcases his advice that has delivered the greatest impact and importantly, couples this with building blocks for the future:
- Designing inspired layouts
- The evolution of library display and promotion
- Creating cohesive identity and décor
- Designing learning spaces with a point of difference over classrooms
