MEET THE CO-FOUNDER | LAURA SMYTH ✨

Laura Smyth is the Founder and Salon Director of Lush Skin & Body, Founder of The Beauty & Aesthetic Network (TBAN), and Co-Founder of WASSABA.

Laura opened her first salon in Melbourne in 2012, then expanded Lush Skin & Body to Perth in 2021, building an award-winning business and a career centred on leadership, education, and community.

But WASSABA was born from something bigger, a belief that Western Australia’s incredible beauty, skin, spa and aesthetics industry deserved its own platform to be recognised and celebrated.

For Laura, WASSABA is about shining a light on the people behind the businesses, the therapists, artists, clinicians, educators, leaders and entrepreneurs who pour so much into this industry.

Outside of business, Laura is a mum of two girls, a big believer in connection and community, and someone who will always find an excuse to bring people together for a good event. 🥂
