Albie season is the best. These little torpedos are about as much fun as you can have with your clothes on🤣

Got into some citation Spanish today off of Shackelford Bank, epic action. Wrapping another summer with the @jonesbrothersmarine 23 Cape Fisherman.

After two months of wearing the 3800, I’m not understanding why these watches have languished for decades now.

They offer a lot for the vintage minded collector who appreciates patina.

Really appreciate @montresbreguet sharing info on my watches. In literally 30 minutes from when I sent an inquiry on the website, I found out that my 3330 was delivered in 1993 to Mexico and my 3800 to Zurich in 1997.

Crazy how many brands shroud their records and make it difficult for collectors to gather any information.

@vbrasesco thanks for sharing the link 😉

The watch I got a second chance on…missed it at a pawn shop in 2021, and got it when it came back into another one years later.

Every watch has a story, some more than others. I’ve made a series of short videos talking through some of my watches and their history.

Hopefully this format is enjoyable.

If you know, you know…

Growing up in the 80s, Rambo was one of my favorite movies. What wasn’t to like? A badass with a cool watch, a big knife, a compound bow, and an M16 laying waste to people that wronged him.

I had numerous survival knives in my youth, usually the cheap flea market variety that would break after a few weeks, but every one of them was badass to me, just like Rambo.

So when I saw a LILE First Blood made by Vaughn Neeley at a local pawn shop, it was a no brainer.

Will I ever use it? Nope. Will I sell it? Most definitely. Did I finally obtain the knife my 8 year old self dreamed about? Yep, and it was well worth the wait.

Haven’t posted this one in 3 years…apparently these are popular now.

Maybe I should wear it more.

Always wanted a Type XX 3800, but never pulled the trigger until now. Overall, it’s a great wearing and looking piece with killer lume patina. Has service hands, but at least it’s been serviced🤣
