Here is a wide view of the conservatory in the Maryland Government House aka Governor’s mansion, highlighting our most recent window project. All of the window units seen here were replicated, utilizing individual panes of insulated glass, and the previous plaster returns were replaced with period appropriate moldings that match the rest of the interior millwork. Stay tuned for behind the scenes photos and videos of the fabrication process. by @wayne_bench

We visited @mountharmon this past weekend for the inaugural Mount Harmon Wicomico Hunt point to point. It was a great event! It also gave me a chance to check out the dormer sashes I had an opportunity to replicate for the manor house back in the summer of 2020. by @wayne_bench

Final walk-through of a recently completed library. Swipe to see the progression from the finished product back to the original full-scale layout. The pine door was an existing hinged arch top door that had to be disassembled and reconfigured as a pocket door. by @wayne_bench

Crab Shanty, Early Morning Light, Rhodes Point, Smith Island, MD. This photo was taken during an incredible 3 day photography workshop with @jayflemingphotography . The experience has motivated me to finally focus some attention on my background in fine art. Many thanks to Jay and my fellow workshop attendees for some much needed inspiration. If you’d like to follow along, I’ll be posting photography and paintings at @waynebench_fineart by @wayne_bench

Vignette. A personal #fenestrationfriday. Our kitchen renovation. Before, during, and after. I designed and built the entire kitchen from scratch, including the casement sash, fitted with beautiful hardware from @frankallart and perfectly fabricated insulated glass units from @gmigvermont . A special thanks to Ben Coldren from @michael.m.coldren, and Youness Baftechi from @troygranite for helping to make our vision a reality. by @wayne_bench
