As we are wrapping up summer 2024 I would like to share my highlight trip to Costa Rica in June.

I traveled across the world to learn from the great giant @daltonmyoskeletal
Having the opportunity to spend 7 days learning alongside so many talented massage therapists from all walks of life and most importantly learning new and advanced techniques of how to treat the body.

We had so much fun, we ate good, slept good, zipped lined, toured the city and learned so so so much that I am still consuming the information and have been incorporating the techniques into my practice.

I must say traveling to Costa Rica was an experience in it self and learning from one of the best is the best in this industry just puts the icing on the cake.

Erik and his team were so knowledgeable and hands on. There was never such thing as a stupid question and this course gave me a deeper understanding of how to go about things I was once having questions about. Also having the opportunity to have him work on me was also so cool. Thank you to his lovely TA’s for helping and just making the week well worth it!

With that said

I am now a Certified Myoskeletal Therapist
And I am so glad I got to do it with of my very best friends @keyellements who is always down for any adventure.

As I continue to reach new heights and learn about more ways to helping everyone who I work on, I want to say thank you to all my clients who support me so that I can become the best therapist I can be!

Thank you Costa Rica for all the learning and experiences.

And to myself I am so Proud of you Woman!!!

Last weekend I attended my first of many Electron Plus Masterminds in Scottsdale, AZ.

Thinking I would just be meeting new people, learning new techniques and more about the device… I got that plus more. I left with a new family and a renewed mind, body, and spirit.

It was such a blessing to be in a room with 50+ amazing and talented healers sharing their gifts, knowledge, and expertise. The energy was so positive. The feeling was so pure. I loved every second I spent with these amazing humans.

I’m still buzzing. This was life changing, and I’ll share more when the time is right. Last weekend was an answered prayer in itself.

I am honored to be part of the E+ family. One of the best decisions and investments of my life 🫶🏾💫

I want to say again thank you to Simon and Michelle and the whole @electronsplus family for welcoming me in with open arms. And I want to thank @kamebodywork for introducing me to E+ and finally getting to meet in person after all these years!

I will never forget this magical weekend!

Love you all! 🫶🏾 taken in Scottsdale, Arizona by @waynebodywork

Curiosity is the ultimate catalyst for discovery.
The Hands on Cadaver course was amazing. The human anatomy is so fascia-nating! 😉
I’m still in awe and can’t wait to do another one.
I’ve gain more insight about where structures actually are and their location outside of the books. I was able to take a more in-depth look inside and also feel/hold the muscles, organs and nerves.

Overall this was an unforgettable and highly informative experience and beyond grateful ✨

Thankful for the opportunity and special thanks to @joe.lavin.massage for putting this together for us. Special thanks to UW Medicine and everyone who works in this department that made this possible.
And big respect and gratitude to the donors that allowed us to learn even more about the human anatomy.

April I flew down to Florida and I took a course that will forever change my brain chemistry.
MPS Intro: Foundation for Spine and Pain. The body continues to amaze me and each class I take grows my curiosity even more!
I’ve gain and learn more knowledge since taking the course, allowing me to easily integrate and incorporate into my work.

The instructor Joe, he was so knowledgeable and he also made learning fun with his sense of humor.

I had the privilege and opportunity to share a room filled with Health professionals in all fields and we were able to feed off of one another. Overall a great learning experience and worth the investment!

I also made it to the beach y’all, listen I didn’t pack any fun clothes 😂

Client came in with low back pain and upper body pain. Movement was limited and restricted.

Her back was warm and that automatically told me that there was inflammation that area . We did an ice treatment to the low back to help drive out the inflammation and did a combo of other modalities to get her feeling good again.

Thanks for trusting me @villtweezy07 🫶🏾

Flew to the East Coast to gain some more knowledge. This time I took the Elite Sports Therapy 2 day course with James Waslaski. Love learning from people in this industry that teach from heart.

Another one in the bag and always grateful to be on this journey of continuing to learn and grow as a bodyworker and as an individual.

Pre/Post Treatment of Left Foot/Toe

Client came in with restrictions in the left foot/toe unable to lift her big toe up. She said she was sending the signal down but as you can there was something disrupting the action from happen.

Goal: Decrease inflammation, increase circulation and mobility in the leg/foot and left toe.

Modalities used:
Cryo Ice Treatment, Cupping and IASTM

We worked the whole posterior chain as well. She did have complaints in her upper left shoulder. Which we took care of that also.

Remember everything is connected and use the tools in your toolbox!! 🧰

Closed out the month of January learning and working alongside some dope massage therapists at The Bodywork Playbook course working with athletes preparing for the NFL combine in Austin, Texas.

The instructors @tatianat23 & @massageandmeditate
@ninotch_sports were so fun and knowledgeable to learn from. I learned so much from the both of them and their unique approaches to the body. Thank you both for sharing your experiences, your game and techniques. And reminding us it’s okay to Pivot when needed.

To my classmates, I truly enjoyed meeting each of you, so glad our paths crossed and looking forward to seeing y’all in the future.

The beautiful thing about this journey I’m on is the amazing people you meet.
