A once in a lifetime experience where everything lined up perfectly, literally with the sun and the weather. Was worried that Dallas would be rained out or covered with clouds, but things cleared up just in time. Glad the stars aligned, and I was able to make this trip.

I'm not going to lie — 2023 was a shit year for me. From being laid off at the beginning of the year, I spent most of the year job hunting, not traveling, worrying about how to extend my savings after unemployment ran out and dealing with family drama. I'm still unemployed, accumulating debt and dealing with constant waves of anxiety/depression. But I did manage to find some highlights of 2023 that I did get to enjoy despite the circumstances. Hopefully 2024 is a better year for me. taken in New York, New York by @wayneoflife

I've been pretty depressed and anxious the past couple of months. I've been dealing with a lot lately with no one to really talk to. It's been an up and down rollercoaster with no end in sight. But I try to smile through my feelings... taken in Central Park by @wayneoflife

I gotta say I don't look too far into the future to know how things will turn out or know how things will go in the upcoming year. I would love to plan out a New Years Resolution that I will get a new job or that I will travel more but not sure if that will even be the case. I sort of take things day by day. So in 2023, every day I would want to be a better version of myself than I was the day before. Happy New Year! taken in Santa Monica, California by @wayneoflife

After about 2 years of chatting during the pandemic, I finally met Xhon in March and I was able to help him with some behind the scenes work on a short film that he was making for a client. The short film, Cielo Elena was available to view for free only for a short time but you can see the trailer here: https://buff.ly/3VcMoB9 Thanks again Xhon for letting me tag along and collaborate. taken in Baryshnikov Arts Center by @wayneoflife

Starting off in 2022, I was going to push myself to stick to a routine. I was no longer going to stay at home on the weekend doing nothing and sulking in my depression. I wanted to get back into photography and doing content creation. I found CreatorsNYC online and been to Saturday meetups since the beginning of January 2022. And not gonna lie, this year I have taken more photos of coffee than anything else. Here are a few that I've taken throughout the year. As we always say, the camera eats first. by @wayneoflife

Starting out 2022 at a high with you was amazing. I loved the times that we shared together and motivated each other to keep going. I also miss our anime nights 😄 Thanks for being there for me. taken in Central Park Ice Skating Rink by @wayneoflife
