✨ Honored to be featured in VoyageLA Magazine! ✨

As the proud daughter of Caribbean immigrants, a former Division I athlete, and a psychiatrist dedicated to mental health and performance, I’ve learned that resilience, purpose, and community can coexist, and thrive, together.

In my feature with VoyageLA, I had the chance to share how WCM Sports Psych was built from that very belief: that athletes, executives, creatives, and high-performers deserve care that integrates both mental health and performance.

And for those who’ve followed my work, this one’s a little extra special. 💖 It offers a RARE PEEK behind the scenes into my own journey, my family, and the personal experiences that continue to shape my mission (yes, photos included!).

If you’re looking to:
🎙️ Book an engaging speaker or workshop to inspire your organization or team,
🎥 Invite an expert voice for media, commentary, or podcast hosting,
💼 Partner through consulting to strengthen culture and performance, or
🧠 Explore one-on-one care focused on mental health and high performance,

I’d love to connect and collaborate.

I’m so grateful to the VoyageLA team for highlighting this work and to every person who continues to support this mission. 💫

Attending She’s Got Time summit left me feeling inspired, recharged, and deeply grateful for the community of women in sports leadership. 🌟 @shesgottime

There’s something special that happens when driven women come together to share real insights about leadership, career pivots, and breaking through barriers.

The sessions offered a refreshing level of honesty. Some moments hit especially deep, with women generously sharing hard-earned wisdom from their journeys.

I even had the chance to sit down for an interview with the trailblazing Jennifer King (@jennifer.king5) (More to come soon on The Mindscape Report with Dr. Wilsa 🎙️).

It was powerful to witness the intergenerational approach - seasoned professionals sharing the stage with emerging leaders, creating this supportive community where everyone had something to learn and something to teach.

Huge appreciation to Swin Cash (@swincash) for founding this platform and creating a space where women in sports can connect authentically and build lasting relationships. The vision behind this summit really shows. The networking wasn’t just quick business card exchanges. These were the kinds of conversations that spark new collaborations and open doors you didn’t even know existed.

Yesterday I told you there was a much bigger story behind where I was headed. This is it. 📌

I was headed to the 18th Annual Polo in the Palisades benefiting Miriam's House, thanks to an invitation from Rick Hubbard, a longtime behavioral-health leader and recovery advocate.

I went expecting a beautiful afternoon of polo in support of an important cause. I left with notes. 📝

Three things I heard especially stayed with me:

Dr. Moe Gelbart, receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award:
“Don't make money the measure of whether you're successful.”

Dr. Mel Pohl, receiving the Distinguished Service in the Field of Recovery Award:
“We are all strong in our broken parts.”

Robert C. Zapel, who received the Spirit of Miriam's House Award with his wife, Cindy:
“All we have, all we ever have, is what we've done to help another person.”

Three different people. Three different lives of service. A message worth sitting with-
What does our success make possible for somebody else? 💡

That question felt especially meaningful in learning more about Miriam's House and its work with mothers in recovery and their children.

Women don't have to choose between pursuing recovery and remaining with their children.

Families stay together while mothers receive support that extends beyond recovery to parenting, education, employment and ultimately independent living.

Recovery. Family stability. Housing. Education. Economic mobility. A child's future.
None of those things exists in isolation.

That's one of the things I appreciated most about being there. The afternoon wasn't only about recognizing individual achievement. It was a reminder of what can happen when achievement, expertise, resources and relationships are used in service of other people.

That is a message worth carrying with us.

Thank you, Rick, for the invitation, and congratulations to this year's honorees.🎖📜

Dr. Wilsa goes to polo. 🐎👒

I liked this outfit. A LOT. So yes, we took pictures. Several. 👀

There's a much bigger story behind where I was headed yesterday and why I was there. I'll tell you about that tomorrow. 📌

Today? We're talking about the outfit. 💁🏾‍♀️

Had a great Saturday afternoon at @infinitecinemaai !
Thanks to Brandon Miree @brik2500 for the invitation.

I so enjoyed the conversations happening in the room around storytelling, creativity, technology and what comes next.

It was also good to spend some time with people already in my network, meet some new people, and see some of what Brandon and the team at #MoviefieldEntertainment is building.

I came home with a few things to think about. 💡

...and since I was still dressed when I got there... post-event fit check. 🙌🏾😅

Had to capture the fit before it came off.👌🏾

Glad I went. Thank you again, Brandon, for having me. ❣️ by @wcmsportspsych

Well… looks like I’m going back to school. 😂

Excited to share that I’ve been selected for the @GoldmanSachs 10,000 Small Businesses National Cohort 26!

WCM Sports Psych has grown a LOT from where it started, and so has the vision for what it can become.

I’ve spent years building the work. Now I’m being very intentional about building the business behind the work so it can grow without everything depending on me.

Strengthening the business.
Expanding our impact.
Building what’s next. 💙
Let’s go. 🙌🏾
