Big thanks to art director Sam Cush of @j2made for hosting our @wcu_gaid students during our studio tour! The socially aware work J2 takes on was such a great fit for our ART400: Design for Social Good students and a really nice way to kick off the day.
Always great catching up with Chara & Mike Smith of @smith_diction! Their presentation was equal parts inspiring and impressive, especially hearing about their approach to seeking out different types of clients and never wanting to just design the same thing over and over.
And lastly, it was really great seeing @tullyryanstudio, one of our WCU_GAID grads!
Thanks again to everyone who took the time to hang with us and share your work with the class. Great day in Philly! by @wcu_gaid

Students who understood the assignment at West Chester University, proving that packaging is more than just material. It's the narrative for the product.

Last week, West Chester University unveiled the new graphics for its Bike Lending Library! Congratulations to senior graphic design students Rebecca Stratton, Liam Cromwell, and Kevin Reece, whose concepts were selected from proposals developed in my ART 400: Special Topics – Design for Social Good course. Rebecca and Liam are pictured here (Kevin not pictured). Proud to see their work making a lasting impact on campus. by @wcu_gaid
