What does it mean to truly know someone?

It starts with seeing the person beyond expectations, labels, and assumptions. 💗

In this archive episode of @allautismtalk, we revisit our conversation 💬 with Russell Lehmann, a motivational speaker, poet, and passionate advocate for acceptance. Through moving spoken-word poetry and candid reflection, Russell challenges misconceptions and encourages compassion for the shared human experience that connects us all.

His words 🗣️ offer us an important reminder: everyone is different, and listening to their needs, honoring their viewpoints, and recognizing their potential can help them feel seen and valued.

Real progress 📈 in autism care depends on dedicated leaders who stand up for children and families, in practice 🧑‍⚕️ and public policy ⚖️.

LEARN Behavioral is proud to recognize Dr. Rebecca Thompson, recipient of @wisaba_'s "Outstanding Contributions to the Field of ABA in Wisconsin" award.

From her early work in diagnostics and ABA service delivery at @weap.aba to her leadership with LEARN in state and federal advocacy, Rebecca has spent more than 25 years moving the field forward and promoting policies that support children with autism. Her contributions reflect a deep commitment to keeping the needs and voices of those we serve front and center.

As she steps into her new role as Director of Government Affairs at @casproviders, we applaud this milestone and look forward to our ongoing collaboration on behalf of communities nationwide.

Congratulations, Rebecca, on this well-deserved honor and on the difference you continue to make. 💕

Growth 📈 looks different for everyone, and great leaders make room for it.

Our managing technicians (MTs) bring valuable expertise with a steady drive to learn, evolve, and uplift those around them.

Our MT position invites experienced behavior technicians (BTs) to widen their responsibilities, refine their clinical practice, mentor peers, and cultivate leadership alongside their care teams. Whether an MT is aiming 🎯 for a future advanced opportunity or thriving in their current role, we value the perspective they offer every day.

Here at WEAP, we’re committed to helping MTs sharpen their abilities, discover their strengths, and chart professional paths of their own. We’re honored to celebrate them 🥳 as they keep learning and inspiring others! by @weap.aba
