A space for women navigating midlife differently.

We’ve had so many of you ask what Sunset Sessions is actually about.

And we get it! It’s not quite a yoga retreat and it’s definitely not your typical night out.

Think somewhere between a beautiful half-day retreat and a really good dance party.

And here’s what we want you to understand.

Your $235 ticket isn’t paying for a yoga class and a DJ. It’s four and a half hours of an experience we’ve spent months thoughtfully bringing together.

Imagine arriving at one of the Mornington Peninsula’s most beautiful venues, welcomed with incredible locally sourced food and drinks.

An hour of yoga with a live DJ. Cacao at sunset. Old-school house music. Barefoot dancing under the summer sky.

Beautiful brand partnerships, gifts to take home and little surprises along the way.

Everything is included. Just arrive. We’ll take care of the rest.

And here’s something we’ve been thinking about. So many of us wouldn’t hesitate to spend $200 on a facial, a beautiful dinner or something new to wear.

But when was the last time we invested that same amount in an experience designed entirely around how we want to FEEL?

In an AI world where we’re spending more time looking at screens we think real human connection is becoming one of life’s greatest luxuries.

No alcohol. No phones. No hangover.

Just incredible music, movement, beautiful food, genuine connection and a night that’s entirely yours.

We believe this could be the new way of doing nights out in midlife.

EMBERR SUNSET SESSIONS

We couldn’t find the kind of night we wanted to go to anymore. So we created it.

Beautiful local food.
DJ-led yoga.
Cacao at sunset.
Music. Connection.
And then, as the sun goes down, old-school house music and barefoot dancing on the lawn. 🪩

No alcohol. No phones once we begin. No hangover.

Just 100 women. One very good summer night.

Meet Suze.

One half of Emberr, mum of four, entrepreneur, adventure seeker and someone who has never been particularly good at following the expected path.

There’s a lot more to her story than we could ever fit into one post but this gives you a little glimpse into one of the women behind Emberr. by @weareemberr

Meet the other half of Emberr.

I’m Sylvia.

Corporate girl. Mum. Wife. Wellness obsessive. Serial idea-starter. And now, co-founder of Emberr.

If you’d told me a few years ago that at 45 I’d be building another business alongside my corporate career, getting stronger than I’ve been in years and creating something for women in this stage of life… I’m not sure I would have believed you.

But maybe that’s the best thing about this chapter.

We don’t have to have it all figured out.
We’re allowed to evolve.
To want more.
To try something new.
To become another version of ourselves.

Emberr feels like so many parts of my life colliding in exactly the right way and getting to build it with Suze makes it even better.

When we started building Emberr, we knew our first signature experience had to represent what we believe women are craving more of.

Connection. Movement. Presence.
Joy.

So we created the kind of night we were craving ourselves. A chance to step out of the noise for a few hours. To arrive. Exhale. Eat something beautiful. Move your body. Meet someone new. Be completely present….
And eventually dance barefoot on the lawn as the sun goes down.

✨Emberr Sunset Sessions ✨

A carefully curated experience where every part of the evening has a reason for being there. From the beautiful setting and food, to the movement, cacao, music and all the little details in between.

We’ve intentionally positioned Sunset Sessions as a premium offering. Not because we want it to feel exclusive, but because we want it to feel considered.

A beautiful venue.
Generous food and drinks.
Incredible people guiding each part of the experience.
And only 100 women sharing it together.

This post takes you inside the thinking behind the night and why we’ve created it the way we have.

Hopefully somewhere as you swipe, you’ll think…yep that sounds like a night I want to be part of.

This isn’t just our business name.

It’s our belief.

That no matter how much life changes, the best parts of you never disappear.
Sometimes they just need a little space to glow again.

Emberr Sunset Sessions. An evening that brings together everything we love about feeling good AND having a really good time.

Imagine arriving somewhere beautiful as the sun begins to set. Delicious local food, a beautiful mocktail bar, a DJ setting the mood and connecting over conversations that go beyond the usual small talk.

Then we MOVE.

An hour of DJ-led yoga. A moment to pause with cacao at sunset.

And then?

We turn the music UP. Old-school house. Bare feet on the grass. Hands in the air. All those songs that take you straight back to your favourite nights out.

And because we love the little details, we’ve got plenty of those planned too. Thoughtfully curated brand experiences, beautiful goodie bags, little surprises throughout the evening and a few things we’re keeping under wraps for now. ✨

Every part of this experience has been designed to make YOU feel good- in all the right ways.

No alcohol. No phones once we begin. No pressure to be anything other than yourself.

Just music, movement, connection and the kind of joy we don’t make nearly enough room for anymore.

And the best part? You get to wake up the next morning feeling incredible.

This is our version of a night out in midlife. And we think it’s about time.

$235 - everything included.

Come with your girlfriends. Come on your own. You don’t need to be a yogi, a dancer or know a single person. You just need to come ready to have a really good time.

SUNDAY SOUNDTRACK šŸŽ¶šŸŖ©

This is exactly the kind of thing we hoped Emberr would become. šŸ¤Ž

Yesterday, a lovely woman from our growing Emberr community slid into our DMs to share a track she’s had on repeat.

We’ve never met her. We’ve never spoken in person. But we’ve connected through this little community we’re building.

And honestly, we LOVE that.

Because Emberr was never just about creating events.

It was about bringing women together. Finding common ground. Sharing the things that light us up. And creating connections that go beyond a screen.

Sometimes that starts with something as simple as a really good house track.

So today’s Sunday Soundtrack comes courtesy of one of YOU!

šŸŽ¶ Luuk van Dijk, Sam Alfred & Storm Mollison

A huge thank you for sharing this one with us! @kidsmummas_wellness_annalee šŸ¤Ž

And to the rest of our Emberr women… keep them coming!

Our DMs are always open for your favourite tracks, your stories and your ideas. Because this isn’t just our community. It’s yours too. by @weareemberr

And this is exactly why we created Emberr.

We wanted to build a community where women can come together, share their experiences, have honest conversations and feel supported through all the ups and downs of midlife.

A place where we can talk openly, learn from each other, have different opinions and make different choices, without judgement.

We’re all navigating this chapter in our own way and there’s so much we can learn from one another along the way.

And while the conversations are important so is having fun, making new friends, trying new things and enjoying everything this stage of life has to offer.

So if you’re in your 40s, 50s or beyond please come and join us. We’re here for the conversations, the connection and all the good stuff still to come.

This is just the beginning.

One thing we’ve learnt about navigating perimenopause and menopause is that no two women’s experiences are exactly the same and neither are the choices we make along the way.

And that’s something we think is really important to talk about.

There’s so much more information available today about perimenopause, menopause and the different treatment options which is a great thing. But with that can come a lot of opinions about what women should or shouldn’t be doing.

We believe it’s about being informed, understanding your options, having the right support and making decisions that feel right for you.

Because we can share our experiences without turning them into instructions and judgement and we certainly don’t have to make the same choices to support one another.

We’d love to hear your thoughts. Have you felt supported in making your own decisions through perimenopause or menopause?

Last weekend as part of our The Second Half series we asked five women what advice they’d give their 40-year-old selves.

What we found really interesting was that two of the women independently brought up menopause.

We hadn’t asked them about menopause specifically but looking back they both wished they’d known more about what was happening to their bodies and wish they had felt better informed and prepared for that stage of life.

And it got us thinking about how many other women might feel exactly the same way.

It’s one of the reasons we think these conversations are so important. The more we share our experiences, the more we can learn from each other, and hopefully make things a little easier for the women coming behind us.

We’d love to know, what’s one thing you wish someone had told you about menopause before you experienced it?
