It’s back! Launching next week our Luxury Mulberry Sauce, hand-picked straight from the Bishop of Gloucester’s garden is returning.

Lusciously rich and fruity, perfect stirred through porridge, spooned over yogurt, or drizzled on pancakes and ice cream.

Made by hand in Gloucester by @weareprojectgrow and @communityrootscic with every jar supporting people to create positive change.

Watch this space for stockists details. We have some returning local stockists as well as details of new ways to buy online.

Another incredible session today and the sun came out! Growing at the @gloucestershireheritagehub is looking very autumnal now but we have almost everything in the beds. We potted on a million strawberries and Colin has knocked us up the bones of a @littlefreelibrary - coming soon!

Thanks for @jamielwhitelock for the @gloucesterservices coffee grounds.

Next Tuesday is our BIG ideas fest at the Gloucestershire Heritage Hub from 10am. Come have hot drinks + cake with us whilst helping us shape our work plan for 2027! by @weareprojectgrow

Urban growing

Beauty amongst the concrete.
Connection where people feel isolated.
Community where neighbours are strangers.
Abundance in overlooked spaces.
Nature amongst the buildings.
Nourishment where fresh food is hard to find.
Calm amongst the noise.
Belonging where people feel forgotten.
Purpose where there is disconnection.
Possibility where others see wasteland.
Shared ownership where people feel powerless.
Seasonal rhythms in a world that never stops.
Life taking root in neglected places.

We will never stop! Growing food creates beauty, connection and possibility in places. Support your local growing project. They matter. @nourishinggloucester @feedinggloucestershire by @weareprojectgrow

Plugs, plugs and more plugs! The weather may have turned but we are still sowing and growing and will be until the end of the month. If you need plugs for your #allotment #communitygarden or #school and in Gloucester let us know.

Good news for Gloucester – we’ve secured £220K in government funding to help more of you access healthy, affordable food.

It’s part of the new Good Food Neighbourhoods programme, where 45 local authorities are receiving a share of £10M.

Here in Gloucester, funding will build on the work of Nourishing Gloucester – the city’s partnership food strategy.

Together, we want to tackle the reasons why people struggle to afford healthy food and help residents get support before they face a crisis

We’ve a strong network of community food projects already doing great work. This funding will help strengthen and connect these services, so everyone can find and access the type of support that best suits their needs.

More details on the programme and opportunities to get involved will be shared soon. by @weareprojectgrow

This woman is my rock and I’m so happy to announce also now my business partner. Hannah has officially become a Director here at @weareprojectgrow and I couldn’t be happier! From bumping into each other at a @peopleplanetpint event (thank you @greenhousechelt) and Hannah introducing me to the @gloucestershireheritagehub we worked together as volunteers, then I employed Hannah and now she’s a Director! Thank you to everyone who has been part of this crazy ride! Thank you to Hannah for believing in us! Forever grateful, Claire x by @weareprojectgrow
