BSL graduation night at Hull Deaf Centre on last Thurs night, it’s was a wonderful night to see all of our students collected their certificates also other students came to share the celebrations and nice see our ex students come along too 🤗

A 10 years old Jessica made speech about fund raise for Hull Deaf Centre front of the audience.

“Jessica, Nancy & Miriam. All age 10. They were doing lifestyle this summer, which is a project partnered with the police to help the local community. The girls decided they wanted to help share information about deaf awareness and raise money for Hull Deaf Centre. They did several yard sales, selling toys, books, homemade bracelets etc. They also did a bake sale at my students work at Castle Hill hospital. (It all sold out super quick!) they also filled two jars with sweets and people paid £1 to guess how many sweets in the jar.”

The girls did amazing! Well done to Jessica, Nancy and Miriam! They raised £271! 🎉 🤗

Webb BSL wishing everyone a lovely weekend!
Students who can’t make on the night, we will contact you via email to rearrange for collecting certificate.
