NEW | Featured on @wrtvnews today to touch on the crash course “Creole 4 Wellness” at @buindianapolis. This 14-hour cross cultural class will help staffers dismiss language gaps and engage in meaningful interactions with members of the Creole-speaking community in Indianapolis facing HIV challenges. BU Wellness is the largest Black AIDS-service organization in Indiana, and serves over 35% of Black people in the state living with SIDA (word for AIDS in Haitian Creole). Thanks to @wrtvnews’ @nicolegriffintv and Dave Franklin for facilitating this dialogue, @extraordinarilyunapologetic & BU team for help and participation. #Creole4Wellness by @websdercorneille

Carried the responsibility to share Haiti’s Creole language, culture and history to these kids of Haitian descent born outside of their country of origin. It’s an honor and privilege. 🙏 Get the full story at Indianapolis-based media @mirrorindy. 📷 @jennajulyaugust/Mirror Indy by @websdercorneille

Last week, I saw this sign at the University of Toronto's Henry N.R. Jackman Faculty of Law— and "bilingually" whispered:Of course, yes! Ask @pbsc_epbc! Indeed it may even be essential if we are to survive. Lmao 😄. My Haitian fellows would have said: “Poze bon kesyon!” (Ask good questions) Absolument. Oh! Demandez à @pbsc_epbc! Cela pourrait même être essentiel à notre survie. Rires...😄. Mes compatriotes haïtien.nes auraient dit : “Poze bon kesyon!” (Posez de bonnes questions!)#A2J #AccessToJustice #AccèsÀLaJustice by @websdercorneille

Productive meeting in Ottawa with my dearest Benjamin Boutin about challenges and opportunities in the Francophone economic and security landscape, bilingualism as an asset and cultural diglossia. Benjamin is the honorary chairman of Francophonie sans frontières that I once was the communications manager, and cartoon author who signed « À la découverte de la Francophonie ». @cfameriques @oifrancophonie by @websdercorneille
