This artwork feels quite poignant after everything that's gone on here this past week. I feel disgusted to my core at the scenes in Ballymena and Larne.

The people involved in this hideous behaviour are a minority and we have a duty to show our neighbours that the community here won't stand for racism and bigotry.

@uarbelfast are running a 'stand up to racism' rally on Sat 21st June at 1:30, Belfast City Hall. I hope you'll join to show your support.

It seems to have connected deeply with a lot of breastfeeding baddies (and breastfeeding baddie ally's) which was exactly the intention.

'BADDIES BREASTFEED' - created for @dublincitycouncil for Breastfeeding Awareness Week

This was a BIG project that's been bubbling away for a few years.
I have a lot to say about it (maybe I'll do a tiny mic?).

I breastfed my daughter for 14 months. This is what I often looked like. Sometimes I was gazing at her lovingly, as we often see in breastfeeding photography. Sometimes I was scrolling on my phone. Sometimes I was eating pasta one handed or gingerly drinking a (usually cold) cup of tea. I breastfed in bed, in parks, in cafes, on public benches. In front of my friends, my family, strangers.

I wanted to create an image showing what breastfeeding actually looks like for a new generation of mothers. A lot of the imagery we see of breastfeeding feels unrealistic to me, very polished.. If we can't SEE ourselves represented it makes it harder to join in.

We have one of the lowest uptakes of breastfeeding in the world here across the island of Ireland. We have several generations of mothers who never breastfed. So with a lot of that generational knowledge lost, new mothers can face an uphill battle.

Thankfully I did have support in my breastfeeding journey. The hands either side of the mural represent the support friends and family gave me through my post partum period. They dropped meals round to my door, they cleaned my house for me, spent time with me and my daughter when all we were really able to do was sit on the sofa for hours and cluster feed. I had support from mothers who were a year or two ahead of me who shared advice, handed down baby clothes, allowed me to vent without judgement when things became hard.

Without that support I would have had a very different breastfeeding journey & I certainly wouldn't have been able to continue as long as I did.
Special mention to my mum who was on Mamó duties all week to allow me to take on this job 💕

'DAMHSA' - Fleadh 2026

There's something so important about connecting people to experience queer JOY and I just love the vibe so much. The city has been absolutely popping off this week for the fleadh and everyone feels more connected than I think I've ever seen in Belfast 🥹
