Another “come gig with us” vlog 🤭 — just for you!

Thank you, @baileys_bedfordview for having us one last time before closing your doors. What a WONDERFUL venue, and what an honour it was to have graced that stage twice as a band. 🖤

And to @blue.horizon.entertainment — thank you for believing in us as an upcoming rock band in SA. We appreciate you more than you know! 🙏🏼

We had SO much fun Saturday night. Here’s to many more nights of SLOSHING, rocking, and making some noise together. Never the last of TheLastDance! 🥀🎸 taken in Bailey's Bedfordview by @weer_lig

slosh
/slɒʃ/

(v.) to unleash a wall of sound through instruments, amplifiers, and emotion; to break the status quo with loud, honest music that moves a crowd from listening to feeling.

Example: “TheLastDance didn’t just play the show. They sloshed the entire venue.” taken in Bailey's Bedfordview by @weer_lig

Charné (Weerlig) // Bass Guitar & Backing Vocals ⚡🎸

Bass in her hands, lightning in her veins. By day, Charné shapes the next generation as a music teacher; by night, she is the band’s fierce low-end slayer and gritty backing vocalist. Based in Centurion, her playing doesn’t ask for permission—it strikes with the intense, localized power of a high-energy storm.

"I'm 24, a music teacher by day and a music maker by night. Offstage, I have a beautifully strange obsession with ducks and Rubik's cubes. Onstage, it’s all about the energy." by @weer_lig

This is a good example of getting consumed by the music. Unfortunately, this time the dop had to be sacrificed 😂 by @weer_lig
