Still pinching myself… ✨ Our Modern European home has found its way into the pages of @vogueliving, and we couldn’t be more excited to finally share it with you.

After four+ years of pouring our hearts into every detail, this home is a true labor of love—one that wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible vision and talent of @brooksandfalotico, whose architectural expertise helped shape a space that feels both timeless and deeply personal.

We’re endlessly grateful to the wonderful team at @vogueliving, editor @yeongsassall, my eternal photographer @carolinesharpnack, the one and only @francesfinds for her impeccable styling, and our PR team at @carolinepinkstonpr—thank you for bringing this feature to life so beautifully.

While moments like this feel like the culmination of a journey, they’re really just the beginning. We have so much more to share, and I absolutely can’t wait.

Ready for the full tour? This might just be my favorite “link in bio” to date. ✨

One thing is true: my home will never be “finished”—it’s always evolving and I’m always experimenting.

But it’s hard to remember this hallway before these @schumacher1889 stripes were added. They’ve transformed, and dare I say completed, this space.

Well Found, Volume II — The Art of Collecting.

After many months of sourcing, collecting, and preparing, the newest volume of Well Found is finally here.

This collection takes its inspiration from Italy, with antiques and vintage finds gathered there and around the globe. A mix of original artwork, mirrors, Murano glass, silver, marble, bronze, and a pair of Italian fruitwood chairs—all chosen for the character and individuality they bring to a home.

Where Volume I focused more on statement furnishings, Volume II celebrates the smaller pieces that give a room its layers. The things collected slowly, lived with, and enjoyed for years to come.

And with the holidays approaching, perhaps a little inspiration for thoughtful gifting, too.

Volume II is now available to shop at wellbydesign.com. Link in bio. 🤎

There are quite a few new faces here lately, so it feels like a good time to reintroduce myself. 👋

I’m Lauren Sullivan, the designer and antique curator behind Well by Design and Well Found. I’m also a pharmacist, with 13 years in practice. Somewhere in the middle of that chapter, I earned a master’s in healthcare design from the New York School of Interior Design. But my love of interiors and antiques began much earlier: I chose my first antique at nine with my grandmother, and I’ve been collecting, rearranging, and noticing the details ever since.

Well by Design grew from our Tennessee home and my belief that the most enduring spaces are built slowly. Here I share the thinking behind our interiors, the places and objects that influence them, and life in a home that is always evolving.

Well Found is the shop side of that story: limited collections of European antiques and storied objects chosen for craftsmanship, character, patina, and the feeling they bring to a room. The newest volume, centered on smaller objects and artwork collected primarily in Italy, is coming very soon.

Tennessee has always been home, though I was raised with my mother’s sensibility—by way of Ohio and Michigan—and the bluntness only my stepdad’s Staten Island roots could provide. I share life here with my husband—my best friend and biggest cheerleader—and our much-loved dogs, Watson and Bennett—and always Bernie. Losing Bernie earlier this year, after 16 years as my constant companion, changed me forever. I see or talk to my grandparents nearly every day, and I’m an aunt to a niece and nephew, plus two new identical twin nieces who keep all of us hopping.

For the less official introduction: I love regular Coke ice cold in a can, hot power yoga, overpacking unapologetically, nurturing plants in the greenhouse while still losing half of them, planning the next trip while still on one, and telling a five-minute story with a twenty-minute backstory.

But mostly, you’ll find an ongoing case for homes that are collected with conviction and layered over time.

I’m so glad you found your way here. 🤍

I think my advice will always be: take the trip.

It was a beautiful whirlwind, and I brought plenty of things home from France—some in my suitcase, some still on their way, and, most importantly, some in the form of inspo and memories to last forever.

From Provence to Paris, with antiques, gardens, and a camera full of doors along the way. And Céline—my favorite comeback story. 🤍

The unpredictability is the point.

I’ve always preferred marble with enough veining, movement, and variation to become part of the room rather than simply cover a surface. I love the irregularities that come with natural stone—the shifts in tone, unexpected lines, and imperfections that make each slab entirely its own.

Before there was a room, there was the view.

From the beginning, @brooksandfalotico oriented the primary bedroom sitting area around our mountain-facing position. Even during framing, it was clear the windows would do most of the work.

The finished room is intentionally quiet—soft upholstery, a restrained palette, and just enough contrast to keep the landscape in focus.

It was the surface that drew me to this one.

A floral still life by French artist Pierre Letellier (1928–2000), with layers of paint, visible craquelure and an earthy palette of muted greens, ochres, deep plum and brown. The closer you get, the better it becomes.

Signed by the artist, in a vintage silver-tone frame with a linen liner.

Even the most polished rooms need a little tension.

I found this vintage shield mirror in Canada before I had any idea where it would go. Our powder bath was still under construction at the time, but it didn’t take long to realize this was exactly where it belonged.

Against the hand-painted landscape, unlacquered brass, and stone, its worn blue frame and imperfect finish keep the room from feeling too precious—or too new.

In my opinion, a little patina almost always makes a room better.
