Shots around Australia

Australia, the land where I was born

This trip was a huge learning curve for me, I was introduced to many parts of the country. I remembered them all somewhat from when I was a child which was pretty much the last time I visited. I hadn't been back in over 10 years

During my almost 6 months I came to experience some of the best parts of the East Coast of Australia

But still I'm left wanting more

There's so much to see in this country and the best way of traveling it is by car, so when I return I really want to explore off the beaten path.

It's much thanks to the kindness of everyone who hosted me and believed in me despite the abrupt ending. Shoutout Uruguay (those who know), shoutout to the family friends going way back, to fellow travelers coming for a change in their daily lives to the Aussie urbexers telling me all the local hangout spots, shoutout to my family all around Australia and a special shoutout to my grandparents for bringing me roundtrip to Kosciuszko in a day. I couldn't have done it without you

In this set you see photos from Wollongong, Byron Bay, Royal National Park, Mt. Kosciuszko and the Glasshouse Mountains with the rest of my trip photos being in other posts

This trip really sparked my love for traveling even more than it had already been sparked as I decided to do a 14 country, 60 day backpacking trip on the way home (more from that later 👀)

But most of all it opened my eyes to the realities of life and traveling, that I was so lucky to have family there and save my money. I know that going forward my next trips will be harder to save for but when you land and get that first smell of eucalyptus it makes you feel right at home by @wemakeiteazy
