No two Doors shows were ever quite the same.

UNBOUND AND DANGEROUS brings together 16 live performances spanning New York, Philadelphia, Detroit, Pittsburgh, and Los Angeles. Most were recorded in 1970, capturing The Doors at a moment when their live performances were becoming increasingly blues-driven and unpredictable.

“Soul Kitchen” is the lone exception, coming from the second show on July 21, 1969, at the Aquarius Theatre in Hollywood.

Curated by Robby Krieger, John Densmore, and Bruce Botnick, the collection has been newly remixed for release October 23.

From a 1967 Las Vegas show to a limited-edition print.

This original poster was created by German artist Wilfred Weisser for The Doors’ August 25, 1967 performance at the Las Vegas Convention. Weisser spent time in San Francisco during the mid-’60s, going to concerts and submitting his artwork to local venues, before eventually returning to Germany.

With only approximately three original posters known to remain, this piece offers a rare look at The Doors’ early concert history.

A new edition of 100 prints is now available exclusively through The Doors Store. Measuring 19” × 24”, each print is produced on 300 gsm Art Natural F.A. paper with a smooth matte finish and printed using a Canon Pro 4000 12-color ink printer.

Limited stock remains.
