This post isn’t really about the car.

It’s dedicated to my early 20s self; The version of me who was so hard on herself because she thought she was falling behind in life.

Years ago, I co-founded a company, rage quit it and spent months beating myself up because I thought I had failed. I was jobless, lost and constantly questioning what I was supposed to do with my life.

So I tried everything.

I jumped between desk jobs trying to figure out what would stick. I started little businesses. I sold bags, clothes… even corn 😭 I became a boxing coach, then a CrossFit coach. Eventually, I decided to go back to school for my MBA while coaching on the side to make ends meet.

I faced rejection after rejection. I took losses. I changed directions more times than I can count.

And for the longest time, I thought all of that meant I was failing.

Looking back now, I realize I wasn’t failing.

I was figuring myself out.

Every rejection redirected me. Every loss taught me something. Every random job, business idea and detour brought me a little closer to the life I was meant to build.

I didn’t have everything figured out. I was VERY lost.

But I never stopped moving.

And if I could sit down with that younger version of myself today, I’d tell her:

Be gentle with yourself. You don’t need to have everything figured out. Just keep going, trust God and know that He’ll provide what you need along the way. 🤲🏼

And to anyone reading this who feels lost right now—please don’t give up on yourself just because you don’t know where you’re going yet.

Rejection is not failure. Sometimes, it’s simply redirection.

Keep trying. Keep learning. Keep moving forward.

Because my partner once told me:

A moving man/woman will always meet their luck. 🍀

And maybe one day, you’ll look back and realize that during all those years you thought you were lost…

you were actually finding your way.
