Very moved to see my portrait of Brice Marden displayed at the seminal @gagosian gallery opening in NYC “I Am Plane Image.” Shot in Brice’s studio in the early 1990s. His sister MC Marden was my editor - Dir. of Photography, @time and close friend. Sadly, both are gone now. The Marden family chose this photo to represent Brice for his legacy. Thank you @sarahgiotto_ for sending @estateofbricemarden #jimmchughphotography @leicagalleryla #studiovist #extachrome4x5 taken in Gagosian, 555 West 24th Street, New York by @westernave

Leather Sculpture exhibited at the Wildcard Gallery in Hollywood. A kinetic art work, observers are encouraged to strike the piece multiple times as it swings back and forth. Curator @freddieroach oversees the exhibit. @wildcardboxingclub 🥊 I’ve spent a lot of happy hours here. Thanks Freddie! taken in Wildcard Boxing Gym by @westernave

A thrilling evening for sandisk Ambassadors I was asked to photograph Dancers on famed Stage 3 at Occidental Studios - the oldest continually operating sound stage in Hollywood, since 1913, starting with Charlie Chaplin. For an LA History aficionado like me, memorable! Thank you 🙏@sandisk @leica_fotografie_international @nocturna_entertainment @leicagalleryla #goldenerahollywood #jimmchughphotography by @westernave
