Anyone need walnut ink? by @westernheartstudio
3rd day it was only over 8 miles. Today, the weather was the challenge, several people skipped this part of the hike because people were worried about the thunderstorm warning (metal hiking poles and being on top of a mountain maybe not the best mix), and one of the roads got washed out from the night before. But that didn't deter us, and luckily, we only saw rain and cold temps. We also saw quite a few mountain bikers. The cold temps made for a short day, because we ran down the Col de la Seigne to Courmayer. We did part of this hike due to time. Would I do the rest of the loop? If it wasn't so crowded, I'd love to. by @westernheartstudio
The 2nd day was longer, over 11 miles. We hiked over Col du Bonhomme down to Les Chapieux. by @westernheartstudio
The start of my Misogi Challenge, hiking from Les Houches to Courmayer on the Tour du Mont Blanc. I've been training for 2 years for this, and it helped me to enjoy the journey without pain. by @westernheartstudio
Was fortunate to be in Gstaad for the Zuglete. by @westernheartstudio
Lauterbrunnen offered multiple sights and sounds. by @westernheartstudio
Switzerland, you already had me at chocolate and hiking, but these views!! This was our patio view from our stay up the hill from town. I'm sorry, but I don't know of a better view than this. It was up a nice steep hill from town, which was a good primer for what we're about to do..... by @westernheartstudio
Very productive day today. The air was a little clearer. This will be at an upcoming show, 12x36", along with others that I finished today. by @westernheartstudio
1 hour less of time in the studio since I forgot to charge the generator. Progress made, still good. by @westernheartstudio
Didn't have time for encaustic, so I tried to do a YouTube video. It turned into muddy mess (looks nothing like the video), and I probably ingested dust, but I still had fun. by @westernheartstudio
