The celebration continues for our College of Pharmacy Class of 2025! The NAPLEX (North American Pharmacist Licensure Exam) results are in, and we couldn't be prouder—WesternU ranked in the Top 5 of California pharmacy schools with an outstanding 92.6% first-time pass rate!

This achievement is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and resilience of our Class of 2025, along with the unwavering support of our talented faculty and staff. Watching our graduates succeed and knowing they're ready to make a real impact in healthcare is what drives everything we do.

Our P3 student pharmacists had the opportunity to connect with leading names in the pharmacy industry at our Rotations Fair this past month. Students engaged directly with pharmacists from top companies, gaining valuable insight into potential career paths and where they could see themselves in the field.

We're pleased to announce that Dr. Ligang Liu's latest research has been published in the top ranked pediatrics journal, JAMA Pediatrics, examining long-term trends in preclinical and clinical obesity among U.S. adolescents.

Using national data from 1999 through 2023, the study found that clinical obesity rose from 5.3% to 9.2%, with the sharpest increase among adolescents from lower-income households. This important work highlights a critical health-equity concern and has significant implications for clinical practice and public health policy. Congratulations, Dr. Liu, on this achievement! 👏
