Tyler Smith! Let’s go! Strong finish 💪🏾 by @wgfhudson

It’s Mr. Speaker. #PutSomeRespectOnHisName by @wgfhudson

I’m looking forward to attending and presenting during AFROTECH 2026 in Houston, November 2–6.

I’m excited to connect with fellow technology leaders, policymakers, and health leaders who are thinking about how innovation can solve real problems and create meaningful impact.

The most important conversations happen when technology, policy, and human experience come together.

Looking forward to the conversations, the collaboration, and what we can build together. by @wgfhudson

Grateful to share that I’ll be serving as Chair of the Black Legislative Leaders Network’s Stakeholders Alliance Roundtable. I’ve believed in BLLN’s mission since its founding, and serving on the Board has only deepened that conviction. The Stakeholders Alliance Roundtable brings together corporate, philanthropic, and institutional partners who share BLLN's commitment to advancing policy that strengthens Black communities across all 50 states. Under Will's leadership, the Roundtable will expand how our partners engage with the senior Black state legislative leaders at the center of our "One Movement, Two Chambers" work.

Will is Head of Business Development, Regulated Industries at Qualtrics, where he builds partnerships with organizations operating in highly regulated sectors. He also serves on BLLN's Board of Directors and has been a committed champion of this network since its founding. He brings proven business judgment, deep relationships, and a clear vision for growing a stronger and more strategic partnership base.

"Will has stood with BLLN from day one. He understands both the boardroom and the policy table, and he is the right leader to take the Stakeholders Alliance Roundtable to its next level," said Jasper Hendricks, III, Executive Director and CEO of BLLN. by @wgfhudson

Day one of CBC ALC55 in Washington, DC is in the books.

Started the morning with the Black Legislative Leaders Network (BLLN), led by Executive Director Jasper Hendricks, for a health panel that brought state legislative leaders and health policy experts to the same table. Honest, practical conversations ,the kind we need more of.

From there, it was up to the Hill for a meeting with House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and members of the Congressional Black Caucus.

A real highlight of the day: meeting and talking with Dr. Agenia Walker Clark, President of Fisk University, and her team. Grateful for the conversation and inspired by the work they’re doing.

And we closed the day at the BLLN reception, hosted by my great colleague and friend Labriah Holt and the team at BGR.

Day one, fulfilled with purpose. Ready for what today brings. by @wgfhudson

Excellent day two of the National Conference of State Legislatures , a day to celebrate my guy, NCSL President and Illinois House Assistant Majority Leader Marcus C. Evans, Jr. , at the amazing Obama Presidential Center, a beacon of new beginnings on the South Side of Chicago.

The Obama Presidential Center was the perfect venue for this NCSL event, a space intentionally designed to honor civic leadership, community empowerment, and the belief that policy can be a force for equity and opportunity. Standing in a place built to inspire public service made every conversation feel bigger, more intentional, and aligned with the work state leaders are driving across the country.

Pleasure getting to see and talk with Illinois Governor JB Pritzker, House Speaker Chris Welch, Senate President Don Harmon, Cook County Clerk Monica Gordon, and Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson.

And of course, seeing my friend Megan Dubray and the Merck crew. by @wgfhudson

Excited to be in Chicago for the National Conference of State Legislatures conference 2026, where Qualtrics is honored to be a Platinum Foundation Sponsor. The energy here is unmatched, bipartisan collaboration, smart policy discussions, and leaders from every corner of the country focused on impact.

Ended Day One on a high note with former South Carolina Governor Jim Hodges and colleagues from Virginia.

And the best surprise of the day? My niece stopping by to spend time and catch up. A perfect way to round out a full and meaningful first day. by @wgfhudson

$I had the privilege of joining my guy Jordan See on Capitol Hill to support a Congressional Briefing hosted in partnership with the Our HBCUs Matter Foundation, the Congressional HBCU Caucus, and the White House Initiative on HBCUs. The conversation centered on something I care deeply about: unlocking the full potential of our nation’s HBCUs. These institutions have always punched above their weight — producing a disproportionate share of Black doctors, engineers, judges, and leaders, often while operating with a fraction of the resources of their peers. Imagine what’s possible when they’re equipped with the tools, funding, and partnerships they deserve. by @wgfhudson$

Some opportunities feel like the intersection of everything you care about. This is one of them. 💙

I’m honored to be speaking at the Black Maternal Mental Health Week Summit, hosted by the Shades of Blue Project in Houston as part of BMMH Week 2026 (July 19–25). This year’s theme , “Rooted in Legacy: Honoring Our Stories, Healing and Thriving Together for Generational Impact” , could not be more timely.

I’ll be leaning into panel conversations that span the full arc of this work: from the policy table, where systems and funding decisions shape outcomes for Black mothers and families, to a conversation I’m especially passionate about , shaping the paternal human experience, and making sure fathers are seen, supported, and included in the maternal mental health story.

What makes this so meaningful for me is that it brings together everything I love and have built my career around: public health, healthcare, and mental health , paired with my experience in public health and healthcare leadership and the work I do at Qualtrics, helping organizations truly listen to and act on the human experience.

Because behind every data point is a mother, a father, a family, and a story that deserves to be heard.

Grateful to Kay Matthews and the Shades of Blue Project team for creating this platform. If you’ll be at the Summit, come find me , I’d love to connect. by @wgfhudson
