Ibadah is not something you do for an hour on Friday. It is everything you are doing right now.

@WGNetwork, co-founder of Muslimi, entrepreneur, and humanitarian leader, addresses one of the most limiting misconceptions Muslims carry about worship. The word ibadah gets narrowed down to prayer, fasting, and the masjid. And in doing so, an enormous portion of a Muslim's life gets mentally cordoned off from their relationship with Allah.

But marriage is ibadah. You are a husband or a wife twenty-four hours a day. Parenting is ibadah. You are a mother or a father around the clock. Your work, your charity, your relationships, every decision you make and every role you carry is an opportunity for worship if you approach it with the right connection to Allah.

Waleed describes this as a cycle of life and ibadah. When you find a way to weave that connection through everything, when you stop separating your spiritual life from your daily life and start seeing them as one continuous act of devotion, something shifts. Allah will test you through your children, your spouse, your work, and your community. But every one of those tests is also a path back toward Him.

And when you find that connection and hold onto it, he says simply, there is no turning back. You will always win at the end.

Which part of your daily life have you been keeping separate from your relationship with Allah?

A handout gets someone through today. A hand up changes what tomorrow looks like.

@WGNetwork, co-founder of Muslimi, entrepreneur, and humanitarian leader, speaks about the philosophy behind how Muslimi approaches charitable work and community building. The platform is not just a vehicle for Muslimi's own projects. It is open to other vetted organizations and causes, because what they built was never meant to serve only themselves.

Every project listed on the platform has been through a vetting process. And other organizations are given the opportunity to put their projects there too, because the mission is bigger than any single entity. This is for the ummah. All of it.

Waleed describes this as a responsibility that comes with the skills Allah placed in them. Not a reason to build an empire but a reason to build something that elevates everyone around it. If you have been given the ability to create a platform, the question is not just what you can do with it for yourself. It is how many other people you can lift through it.

That distinction between a handout and a hand up runs through everything. Temporary relief matters. But sustainable empowerment, helping causes grow, giving organizations access to audiences and resources they could not reach alone, is what creates lasting change.

Whatever Allah puts in your hands is not just for you.

Is the platform, the skill, or the resource you have been given being used to lift others alongside yourself?

They know when they leave their house they are not guaranteed to come back. They go anyway.

Waleed Gabr (@WGNetwork), co-founder of Muslimi, entrepreneur, and humanitarian leader, speaks about what it actually means to do this work with a directness that leaves no room for comfortable distance. The team has been setting up projects and tents in Al-Fashir, one of the most dangerous active conflict zones in the world right now. When asked whether it is safe for their partners on the ground, the answer is honest. There is nothing safe in war zones. But somebody has to do the job.

That somebody is not an abstraction. It is people who made a decision rooted in something deeper than risk assessment. This is Allah's work. And Allah gave every person a God-given talent to carry out responsibilities on behalf of the ummah. For those on the ground in Al-Fashir, that talent and that responsibility brought them there.

When you trust Muslimi with your donation, Waleed is clear about what that trust means in practice. They go out and find the best people. They find the collaborators. They make sure the work gets done and gets done right. Not from behind a desk. In the field. In the places where the need is greatest and the conditions are hardest.

The people on the other end of your sadaqah are being reached by people who left home not knowing if they would return.

Does knowing that change how you think about where your donation goes?

You work hard all day. You come home exhausted. And when you stop, your money stops too. That is the problem Manzil was built to solve.

On the Muslimi Experience with @WGNetwork, Dr. @Mohamad.Sawwaf, founder and CEO of @manzil.ca, breaks down what it actually means to let your money work for you while you sleep. And how to do it without compromising your deen.

The process starts with understanding your risk profile. High, medium, low, or somewhere in between. Based on that assessment, Manzil designs a portfolio specifically for you using established financial frameworks including portfolio management theory, the efficient frontier model, and sharp ratios. The goal is maximum return with minimum risk. And every single investment is fully Sharia compliant.

That last part is not a footnote. It is the entire point. Muslim professionals across North America are working hard, putting food on the table, and then watching their money sit idle because they cannot find investment options they trust from an Islamic perspective. Manzil exists to close that gap.

You should be able to go to sleep tonight knowing your wealth is growing, that it is being managed with expertise, and that it is doing so in a way that you can answer for on the Day of Judgment.

Is your money working for you right now or is it just waiting for you to come back to it?

You are standing next to a man you have never met. You do not know his background, his lifestyle, or where he came from. And somehow within hours he is your brother and you would trust him with your life.

@wgnetwork reflects on what Hajj does to the human heart in a way that no other experience on earth replicates. Every age. Every ethnicity. Every economic background. The rich and the poor dressed identically. The powerful and the powerless standing in the same lines, making the same tawaf, crying the same tears. You look around and the question that naturally arises is: what makes me any better than any of these people? The honest answer is nothing.

He describes it as the closest thing to the Day of Judgment that exists in this life. And the comparison makes sense. On that day, no title, no wealth, no nationality, and no family name will matter. It will just be souls before Allah. Hajj gives you a living preview of that reality and forces you to inhabit it for days.

The brotherhood that forms is not manufactured. It is not the result of an icebreaker or a team building exercise. It is the natural outcome of two people who share the same Lord, the same purpose, and the same white cloth standing side by side with nowhere else to be.

That common denominator, belief in Allah, turns strangers into family faster than anything else in the world.

May Allah grant every one of us the opportunity to stand on that plain.

One of the most important lessons from Islamic history and most Muslims don't know the full story.

Shaykh Muhammad Salah visits the actual site of the Battle of Uhud in Madinah and explains exactly what happened on that mountain over 1,400 years ago.

Before the battle, the Prophet ﷺ positioned 50 archers on a small mount and gave them a direct command do not leave this position under any circumstances. Whether we are losing or whether we are winning, you stay.

In the early stages of the battle, the Muslims were winning. The Makkan army retreated and the battlefield was full of spoils. That's when 40 of the 50 archers decided to come down and collect the spoils, believing the battle was over.

The enemy had been waiting for exactly that moment.

They climbed the mountain, took out the remaining archers, and attacked the Muslims from behind. What had been a clear Muslim victory turned into one of the most painful days the early Muslim community ever faced. 70 companions were martyred that day, including some of the closest companions of the Prophet ﷺ.

Allah did not let this moment pass without a lesson. He revealed in the Quran and made it clear through this battle that there is no victory at any time, for any community when the command of Allah and His Messenger is disobeyed.

That lesson was not just for the companions. It was for every Muslim who would come after them.

We often compromise on our values, delay our prayers, or cut corners because the immediate, tangible gains in front of our eyes feel more real than the unseen commands of Allah. We think we can build a successful life, family, or career while bypassing the very One who controls the outcome.

Uhud teaches us that you can do everything else right, but if you build your foundation on disobedience, true success is impossible. True victory and barakah only exist within the boundaries set by Allah and His Messenger ﷺ.

The sky was clear and sunny. Then it turned black. And then the rain came down over Arafat like nothing anyone had seen in a very long time.

@wgnetwork recalls the Day of Arafat in 2019, the last Hajj before COVID changed everything, with the kind of detail that only comes from a moment that genuinely stopped you in your tracks. Millions of people were standing, making dua, pouring their hearts out to Allah. And then the clouds closed in from every direction and the rain fell with a force that felt like more than weather.

People did not run for cover. They ran out of their tents to stand in it. To get soaked. To let it hit them. Because in that moment, surrounded by the most sacred gathering on earth, with two million pilgrims lifting their hands to the sky, the rain felt exactly like what it looked like. Allah washing sins away on the holiest day of the year.

Nobody who was there that day forgot it. Some felt it was a farewell of sorts. A gift before the world changed. The following year Hajj would be reduced to a few hundred people. The year after, restricted again. 2019 was the last time the Day of Arafat looked the way it had always looked.

If you are not performing Hajj this year, the Day of Arafat still belongs to you. Fast it. Make dua. Allah forgives the sins of two years for the one who observes it. Do not let this day pass without turning to Him.

Subhanallah I was looking for words to describe the beautiful gathering we had last night in Madina hosted by my beloved brother @meetsharif with @ousamaalshurafa @mhashi424 @wgnetwork @ziv3r @hoopfinesse and many others, and I see a poem where @ahmadinmedina described it so beautifully:

Tech moguls
Deen giants
Tawheed
Real reliance

Kiosk
aviation
Business
Based in revelation
May Allah
Make us worthy of our station

knowledge based students
Future planning prudence
Looks like Allah
Really said let’s do this

Mothers that invested
Hassan droppin lessons
Can’t afford mediocrity
Or we’ll be drowning
in our blessins

Misguidance to guidance
A thousand times a million
The most amazing
soldiers of Allah
Often look like just civilians

From tablighi
To habibi
From a dream
To Naseebee
Allah said
Who is it there
Asking at the end of the night?
Tell them come and see Me.

Hosted by beautiful generosity
Together we’ll pierce through animosity
Let’s expedite the Ummah in the Dunya
To hit escape velocity

Never doubt the Barakah
That can come from the Beloved Prophet

I’m between two feelings

Excitement for all this potential
And fear of being asked
What did you do with all this knowledge?
But in Rahmat Allah
We do take solace

Love of Allah
Look around you
How can you not be in awe
Bismillah inshaAllah

We’re in Madina Munawara
Tell them they can keep Malibu

May God bless and protect
Rasullah Allah
