Most famous dog In Edinburgh, Scotland. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🐶

Everyone loves a dog video. Dog lovers will love this Statue to Skye Terrier, Greyfriars Bobby. Edinburgh is an autumn dream too.

Greyfriars Bobby (4 May 1855 – 14 January 1872) was a Skye Terrier who became known in 19th-century Edinburgh for spending 14 years guarding the grave of his owner. The story continues to be well known in Scotland, through several books and movies.

📍Not far from Edinburgh University, you can find the statue on George IV bridge, near Chambers Street, opposite the Museum of Scotland. It is just outside @greyfriarsbobbybar. Looking for food in Edinburgh? @pizzapostouk is a great shout 🍕my favourite pizza place in the capital.

The UK's Biggest

This is the biggest fireworks display in the UK.

Hosted at the end of every summer at Abingdon. This fireworks festival has been running for 10 consecutive years. Fireworks from all over the world will be showcased here. This year's show was 42 mins of non stop fireworks totalling £2 million. There are fireworks here that you will have never seen in your life including jellyfish fireworks. Definitely one to Google.

Edinburgh without the Castle. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🫶🏰 it’s up for debate 🤔

Paisley is a hidden gem in Scotland. If you are planning a trip to Scotland, a day trip or road trip to Paisley should be on your itinerary. I see lots of reels about Edinburgh and its gothic architecture, Paisley has many stunning buildings too. 110 listed buildings in fact , the highest concentration outside of Edinburgh. The medieval style churches spotted around the town are wonderful.

Paisley is historically huge with the Abbey especially having a crucial role. Robert the Bruce and William Wallace have much to connect them there. William Wallace is said to have been born nearby and studied at the Abbey.

I’d say the best thing is that there are hardly any tourists to the place but I did see a number at the Abbey. Word must be spreading Paisley is a happening place. I found the town to be clean and catering to tourism too. I feel it has put more effort into this space than Glasgow has in recent times.

Paisley it could be argued also punches above its weight for creatives. A number of famous people in the entertainment industry are from the town. @gerardbutler David Tennent and Paulo Nutini to name a few. The Coats church has also featured in Outlander. Dr Who and Outlander ticked off the list too then. Speaking of creatives, Harris Tweed was created by two sisters who trained and developed their weaving skills in Paisley and took them back home with them to Harris. They are known as the Paisley sisters.

While in town head to @castelvecchi19141 for best fish and chips in town. The mentioned celebs all have a star in the town with Paulo’s sitting proudly outside the family Chippie. And you have to try out a Paisley Pie @paisleypieco
