Okay, so we are SO excited for the Overnight Play Festival we just announced… but we need your help! Are you an actor? Writer? Director? Do you want to be? We want to help! Join our roster of artists for the Overnight Play Festival—and for ALL of our programming today at the Google Form in our bio (or nested in the comments here)!

And—artist or not—consider donating to our Kickstarter campaign for the 2026 season! Link in bio or directly at https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/zjscalzo/whatever-works-season-funding. taken in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma by @whateverworksisok

We have some very exciting news! Last night, Zach was invited to present at @paseoartdistrict’s FEAST awards… and we won! We are so grateful to receive support to continue developing new Oklahoma theater. (And, on that note, be sure you’re following us. We’ve got a few more announcements coming up soon!)

Major thank you to everyone who came out, and of course to Theresa, Amanda, and everyone at the Paseo Arts Association. And, most of all, to all the other artists who shared the stage with us last night. We’re so lucky to be in such a vibrant creative community. And we can’t wait to tell you all about what we’ve got cooking…!

Only one more week until @paseoartsdistrict ‘s Paseo FEAST! Have you bought your tickets yet? If you have, here are some photos—including some behind the scenes!—from our staged reading series! (And if not, this is your reminder to come out and vote! Link in bio!) 📸: @brittneibeauchampphotography taken in Paseo Arts District by @whateverworksisok

We finally got in some naps, a season-planning session, and all of a sudden almost a month passed us by! A HUGE thank you to every artist who joined us this August for our inaugural overnight play festival. We can’t wait for the next one… (👀) taken in RACE Dance Collective by @whateverworksisok

24 hours ago a crazy group of local artists came together with passion, a prompt, and a banana chicken (duck? Did we ever decide?), and we created some badass art.

Thank you to @whateverworksisok for putting on The Last-Minute Play Festival, and to every single human that helped make this happen. What a group of absolute rockstars, and I’m honored to have been a part of this!

Checkout more of Whatever Works at whateverworksisok.com and never stop supporting the arts. 💛
