‘Twas the night before A Court Of Splintered Harmony book release!
✨🏹🖤🌙🌌🦇🗡️

Can’t believe that tomorrow we get to go back to the Night Court✨ I love this series & these characters so much! I know it can be hard to explain how books, the world, and characters can mean so much to us because it’s “fictional”, but they truly do and @sarahjmaas’s books are that way for me and so many others! How wonderful it is to be a dreamer✨

Who else is excited but also terrified for the new book??

Meet me through my soul book characters💌✨📚

One of my favorite things about reading is when you when read about a character & immediately see yourself in them! All of these characters hold pieces & traits of me that I carry that make me a little less alone. When I feel like I am too much or too sensitive, I remind myself of all the characters that I relate to in what I see are my “flaws” and these characters make me feel see & understood. I love reading because I’ll find a character that says exactly what I feel or what my heart knows but I never knew how to express it and I read what I never could put into words myself💌 “And sometimes I have to keep my feelings to myself, because I could find no language to describe them in.” ~Sense and Sensibility

Trust Fall🍂📚🤎

If you know me you know I love @lynnpainterbooks books & Trust Fall did not disappoint! This book gave us all vibes of the magic New York in Autumn holds! Julia and Damion have become some of my favorite characters to read between there first eventful meeting to math tutoring, Damion being the ultimate New York tour guide while Julia gives him a taste of what home in Nebraska is like, to being each others dates to the ball, they brought the banter big time! Julia and Damion give Rory & Jess vibes big time! I loved every second reading it that I tried to put out finishing it because I didn’t want it to end! I definitely laughed & cried (have tissues near) over so many of the quotes!
“She kissed the way she drove a pickup, the way she loved a poem, the way she leaned her head all the way back and worshipped the sun out on Remi’s boat. She was reckless and wild, sincere and intentional, and quite possibly the most devastating thing I’ve ever experienced.”

what are your favorite fall books?🤎🌙 by @whatlizziesreading

Liz Buxbuam & Wes Bennett appreciation post! 💛🩵📚🎬

If you know me then you know @lynnpainterbooks books are my favorites & just how special BTTM/NLTM are to me. I read Better Than The Movies when it came out and I was in the same stage of life Liz was in, trying to figure out what career I wanted, college, and all of life changing. I had never read about a character I related more to. A rom com movie lover, book nerdy, hopeless romantic, chronically makes playlist for every situation, and who dresses the way she likes even if it’s funky and not the norm. All the things that made Liz, I felt seen by but even in the way she has a loud laugh, she hates change, and gets in her head on what others might think. Her “flaws” made me feel not alone. And I was just obsessed with Wes (I mean who wouldn’t) and how much he understood & saw Liz!

So when Nothing Like The Movies was published & I read it, I was ironically again in the same stage of life as Liz. In college, trying to learn the ropes, questioning if I made the right choices, and trying to figure out who I was So once again this fictional character made feel “okay” like I wasn’t alone and exactly who I was and wanted to be.

I love these books so much & hold these characters so close to my heart, that right before I got married this summer, my fiancé (now husband lol) read Better Than The Movies. He knew how much Liz & Wes meant to me how much I related with Liz. He was invested in their banter & fake dating! He said after reading he got why I saw myself in Liz. So this is my sappy declaration of love post for the books & characters that feel like my friends! And I promise you will always hear me talk about BTTM & NLTM, Lynn Painter, and her books! ✨📚💛🩵🪩🎬
