Opening Reception:
Wed Sept 30, 5-10pm

“This body of work is a collection of glimmers in the sand. Each piece takes on courageous exploration by bending material, form, and creative languages against the forces of nature.” - Rose & Nadia 🌞

‘All Form No Function’ at @120710.art

Thanks to @sammyydeer @waxxplay @meganmarchstudio for selecting Air and curating a fantastic group of sculptures. @bachrach.arts throws a great opener 𓀤

This newer version of Air involves charred wood chips, a nod to the very real climate crisis inching more and more into our backyards. Let’s use our votes to change that.

On view thru Oct 18th

Working out of Los Angeles, sculptor Caleb Wheeler (@wheeler_cb) builds foraged materials and reclaimed objects into installations that sit somewhere between ancient artifact and modern object. His portfolio mirrors that same instinct: a stripped-back, textural site that lets the work — not the interface — hold the viewer's attention. Clean navigation splits his practice into Small Scale, Large Scale, and his ongoing BreadWoodWater™ series, while a News page keeps visitors up to date on a packed 2026 exhibition calendar, from LACMA's Art Parade to a solo show in El Sereno.

The God Problem will be living at @breagallery for the next six weeks. This speculative show curated by @thinkspace_art was an interesting opportunity to apply ideas of religious irony and philosophical architecture to a wary vision of our future. Unless we reconcile the current divides between culture, science, and faith, I imagine the next century will see civilization metaphorically reduced to something like a hollow monolith reflecting rubble and clay.

I never dreamed these masks would make their first appearance on this scale. Thanks to @lacma @jeffreydeitchgallery and the powerful presence of six women, they were able to be seen by thousands. Seeing the work in the Art Parade was incredibly special and felt like witnessing something beyond me and my involvement. I only hope to continue making things that evolve in this way.

A major thank you to Emily Tipton, Britta Conroy-Randall, and all of the coordinators for putting this on.

@lacma will be throwing a free block party on June 20th to commemorate the opening of the Geffen Galleries and I’m fortunate enough to take part in the Art Parade. “The Faces of Memory” will involve six performers wearing my masks and walking in the procession on Wilshire alongside dozens of other floats and groups from all over the county. If you’re local (or not), come through for some much needed celebration 🌞

I will be staging an immersive installation inside a repurposed beehive kiln for TÉKHNĒ, a group show curated by the amazing @emberdeboer at @panama.art.factory — Opening June 6th and running through the month. Very honored to take part in what will be a major chapter for the Sacramento art community. More to come 𓊎
