WhereAmi? News Flash ⚠️Yo world, hope you’re all good! This Friday, I’m kicking off something special…a new saga in the whereisfenix universe: WhereAmi? @whereami.worldFor those who know, you know, I took a little step back from DJing during the pandemic to focus on my album. But before that (and ever since), I’ve been fortunate enough to play and travel to many places, meeting the most amazing people…not just artists, not just dancers, not just friends, but everyone in between.All those moments, all those connections, all that energy, it’s time to bring it all together. WhereAmi? is my way of giving back through music, but not in a “just another DJ mix” kinda way. Every artist I bring on has full creative freedom. No rules. No expectations. Just pure artistry - free rein to take us all on a voyage of audio whilst exploring their sonic palette. So, expect the unexpected. First episode drops this Friday. There’s a question that follows certain people through every room they walk into.For @000.s.a.s.000, that question doesn’t get answered. It gets played out, track by track, room by room, decade by decade.Parisian born, Los Angeles raised, Berlin based. Over a decade deep in this House Music thing… he’s touched every corner of it. Warm, thumping lofi. French Touch grooves that just feel good in your chest. Peak time jackers that’ll have the whole room losing it.A co-founder of @the900block , one of LA’s own. He’s holding down a residency at @uag.bln out in Berlin. And on top of all that, he’s out here building something new too, an ambient project called @nephology.wav, showcasing a whole other side of him.I took the title of this mix series very head on. Where Am I? Who Am I? What Am I? Why Am I ?I decided to tell my story in this mix. Starting with a deep cut LA song and ending with an era defining French rap song of my youth. Having recently full flourished my ambient heart and producing/performing in that space under @nephology.wav I took a bit of a ride through that therapeutic aspects of electronica. The set builds up and then dives deeper just to build up again and ride out on some smooth grooves type feel. Steady driving, steady LoFi, steady SEAY. I do this because it is the most natural state of being my body and mind seem to vibrate on. I love this culture and this community. I enjoy expressing emotions, joyous or turbulent, via music. by @whereami.world

A new generation carrying the Italian legacy forward, digging where the originators dug, but building something that only makes sense in his own hands. That’s where @wise____music begins.Raised on the outskirts of Milan, his relationship with electronic music started as instinct before it became inheritance. Vinyl found him early, and with it, a way of listening that belongs to a specific bloodline of selectors, ears trained on wax, hands trained on transition, patience trained on the search itself. That instinct opened doors into Milan’s nightlife, and soon into some of the city’s most prominent booths.What followed wasn’t a career so much as an expansion. Some DJs spend years searching for a musical identity. @ESVEAE was formed between continents.With roots stretching from New York to Lagos and a home now established in Berlin, her approach reflects the collision of cultures, histories and dancefloors that have surrounded her throughout her life. House remains at the centre, but rarely for long. Yet, my professional experiences are seen everywhere, in my structured and thorough approach to digging, mixing, and daily interactions. My artist name is a key example. ESVEAE is essentially my initials spelled out phonetically - S.V.A. WhereAmi? 017 delivers another rising selector, the Italian–Colombian singer, producer, and DJ @__joiah____ Currently based in New York City, her approach to electronic music feels closer to ritual than performance. She gravitates toward the spaces where eras, textures, and energies blur between 90s trance echoes, cosmic house sensibilities, raw house breaks, and the shadowy pulse of techno. Never tied to a single lane, she moves through styles like currents, guided by intuition, symbolism, and emotion.As a producer, she released “Alchemic Amazon” on BSR, featuring a remix by Paolo Mosca, alongside several independent projects. Her collaborations include work with Muted Noise (with Roger Gerressen), Picnic Records, Klassified, vocal contributions to Gojnea76, an appearance on Nathan Melja’s Djo Sinego, and a guest mix for R&S Records. She has also delivered mixes for The Lot Radio.With current residencies at both Apollo Studio & Signal in Brooklyn, Joiah is further expanding her presence within the global underground landscape. We begin this year by listening.Not to noise. Not to momentum. Not to what is briefly visible. But to something older, steadier, and far more precise. A sound built with intention. This is E-Dancer. @kevinsaunderson @dantiezofficial E-Dancer has always represented techno at its most essential. Deep. Dark. Raw. Close to the heart. Not as aesthetic, but as method. Amsterdam’s underground has a way of pulling new artists to the surface, not with noise, but with a quiet, magnetic certainty. @cheryl.msc is one of those artists. Emerging quickly yet intentionally through amsterdam’s scene, she’s carved a path between the city’s pillars, from Shelter’s dark pulse to the infamous Bret’s sunlit haze, and sets sailing further out as far as the Albanian shores of UNUM Festival.Her sound and style boogies between minimal’s hypnotic repetition and house music’s warm, human groove …rolling, dubby, flecked with breakbeats, sometimes dissolving into deeper waters, other times flirting with the raw edge of garage. For episode 011, Cheryl drifts further still, It’s a deeper, more immersive side of her sound, built for tracing that feeling back to where it began; tracing a memory back from when we met at berghain on CSD with a mutual homie.
